Made one similar awhile back using the Bleed knot, definitely will give this one a go, my long time wallet chain is made from a length of medium size choker chain covered by a paracord Cobra weave, managed to get approximately 80-90 feet of 550 paracord onto a nearly 2 foot chain.
Yeah, a 3 foot length ended up about one foot long once braided, used a carabiner at the start for the belt loop side and stamped a braclet bow shackle at the finished end with a brass eyelet.
Selling a pattern that I’ve worked on and spent time on. Charging a tiny bit of money for the work put in is quite fair I think. Not only the template but also the video and editing while trying to make a living full time off it.
Thank you! I’ll be making a higher resolution video soon so you can see even better details. Please subscribe and hit the notification button so you get notified when I do post it.
They are the normal budget ones you can buy online. However I polished them to make them smooth so they go in an out of leather much easier. No need to spend on super expensive stitching irons. 👍
Very neat! I have been thinking before I teach a class on making a leather belt @ Makers Mill that I would make a leather template just to hold the inexpensive oblong punch while I hold it on top of the strap to be cut when I put it under the clicker press. I thought one would work well for you when I saw you using the press to cut off the round end. Just a thought... Thanks for sharing! Cheers...Freddie
Sorry, I thought I saw an example with MS Bespoke Straps but it turns out the holes are not slanted in that case. Piqued my interest for sure! @@nordicedc
@@glacialimpalayes. If you have a round hole the. It doesn’t matter how you pull the thread. As long as you repeat what you did on the first stitch on all stitches. But with slanted stitches it matters a lot how you orient the stitches I.e stitch holes towards you or away from you. And depending on that it also matters which side you start the stitch from I.e left side or right side.
If only that front flap folded all the way down to the bottom covering that inside card pocket, this wallet would be awesome 👌. I never have figured out why they come up with that half way down flap.
*Your video is not only interesting but also beautiful! My respect! I sometimes make belt buckles and post videos of them on my channel, would love to hear your opinion ;-)*
