Bed carpets are supposed to help with insulation, helping keep heat or cold out. Any idea if a bed carpet was installed, how much lower the temperature might get to inside in the heat of the summer? Negligible or a relevant amount? Anybody? Thanks.
What measures you can take to lower the heat back there for a crated hunting dog? I see your fans, but 100+ degrees is way too hot. I wonder if insulation would make much difference.
I've been trying to decide between this or a smooth, black Diamondback HD bedcover on my new F150 Raptor. Diamondback says their bedcover is treated with UV protection. I wonder if that means it will not get as hot inside as this RSI in the heat of the summer? I wish they'd fashion some kind of small screen for the little insert side windows so those can be left open for summer time ventilation without risk of bugs or bees getting inside. Those little screens could be built in from the start or an optional, possibly removable add on after the fact, either would be fine.
My Gen 3 is a little grainier and the color is not as vivid as my gen 4. I don’t believe the gen 4 will help you learn any more about your shooting but the video is an upgrade. Haven’t tested the battery, but I have had the gen 3 go dead on longer hunts.
Congratulations you bought into the hype. I’m just glad I got to see your reaction before all the hidden fees and charges and repair costs, etc. it’s crazy how every Elon Musk company can scam the fuck out of people, and still hemorrhage money like they’re burning it for fun.
Sometimes as hunters we just know it was a kill shot and when we can't find it we begin to question ourselves on our ability. This brings closure but more important it reassures our faith in our ability to succeed
The big deal is that she knows that she didn’t injure or cripple it. She knows that the shot she put on it was fatal and that brings closure for a 12 year old kid.
