BJJ Podcast hosted by Kim Potgieter and Brent Dry bringing on guests from across the globe who have interesting life stories or journeys. Very casual and light, and easy to digest at under 45 mins per episode.
An amazing practitioner and a great guy, I've had the privilege of sharing the mat with Nuni at the AET, a true gentleman and always has time to share his knowlege of the game.
I train with Ninos at the AET. He is a model coach and an amazing person. If you want a lesson in great culture, come and see what he has built at the AET!
Great episode, and very relatable for me. I started my Jiu Jitsu journey just over a year ago, 1 day before my 50th birthday. I often come home exhausted after rolls with 'enthusiastic' 20 somethings but thank my lucky stars I can be there. As was mentioned in the podcast, it really is a gift to my future self. My eldest daughter, who is now 18, started along with me and its great to be able to do this wonderful sport together. BTW, she's coached by Frances Bavaro, so was great to see her on the show!
Great interview! I remember training with Telino back in the late 1990s before he was a black belt, he hasn't changed. Still humble and hungry for success.
Great podcast and interview, guys. I'll always have a listen to Dominance team truth bombs. Angus is a super legend and after knowing him for months I had no idea he was 18. Definitely one to watch & support as he dominates the sport!
Congratulations 🎊 on the 100th episode, Kim, Theo and Anton!! Fantastic to see Theo in this episode! Very interesting to hear how you started out and scanning over the most recent 50 episodes. Love all the jokes and your positive energy - it's contagious! I don't even do BJJ myself at all, but what you and your guests talk about is so interesting, I like to watch it when I can. There's always something positive to take away from the interviews. And of course with Theo being my 🥰 💪Big Bruv 💪🥰 and therefore getting to know lovely Kim over the last few years via him, obviously I really love your show and I'm very proud of what you all have accomplished. Good luck for the next 100!
