10 years ago, I bought a small and weak puppy from an illegal puppy dealer, not even two months old. I bought him to save him because he looks deplorable. I raised him with all the love and attention and as a reward he loves me extremely. I didn't know it was a Tibetan spaniel, I thought it was a hybrid puppy. I am so happy that I have him and I dread the moment when I will lose him. He will probably live longer than the forecast, because he has never been sick, and he only stays in the house and on the house's terrace/balcony with his Pekingese partner and their daughter. All three of them are happy dogs, intelligent and loving, grateful, and they get along great, but they are very jealous when it comes to me. like guard dogs they are adorable. I only have two hands and three puppies, but I manage to pet them all at the same time.Nothing in the world is more beautiful than when you receive unconditional love from the animals you raise.
Immagino già il mio Snoopy quando sarà adulto quanto sarà bello ,Anzi , bellissimo...Lui è. Bianco con orecchie rossicce e musetto chiaro.Un bimbo coccoloso.
My family owns one of these little guys, yeah i love him to death but holy shit does he not listen to any of us, he’s very alert indeed but maybe a little TOO much due to him Barking anytime a small does comes by our walkway but gets scared when put against a larger dog in conclusion, He’s Pretty arrogant and does not listen but i still love the shit out of him
My Tibby (Courtney) loves every one. Can't wait to take naps or go to bed with me at night. But she is not a lap dog. She is a great little dog and companion. My last Tibby was with me for 18 years. I still miss her!
I have 3 Tibbies and love them so much. Lilly is 13 yrs old, Mr Spock is 13 on 17th October this year and Tizzy is 6 yrs old.I would not ever have another breed of dog. these dogs are so unique. I have a you tube channel now and uploaded my first video called Tibbie Tales. Pleases have a look and like and comment.
We were blessed with finding Buddy our Tibetan Spaniel at the local animal rescue league in 2014. He is awesome. Warm and friendly and so in tune to the family needs.
Your Tibbie is brilliant! So much character! I have a Tibbie myself, rescued in Alaska, we live in Denver now. Lou Dog is 11 and the greatest joy in the life of my partner and I. Lou Dog has truly been a blessing. He is a teacher, a sage, a friend, a confidant and one hell of a singer. Recently, he has begun to reverse sneeze frequently. If anyone has any advice for us on treating this new and cumbersome condition--or any feedback on what we shouldn't do--we'd be so appreciative. Blessings! Here's his Facebook page: facebook.com/TibetanLou/
I've had many dogs and this is my favorite breed. Over jack russelll terrier, beagle, jindo and Pekingese. Great watchdog and companion very loving lower]st maintenance of any dog and the most reward.
gwyn Stephen im thinking of getting a dog but i just don't know what to get. What i want is a big dog that loves to cuddle could be a watch dog and protect me but can also live in hot weathers cause i live in the middle east also i live in a house
HIS Footprints OnWater ...don't know why you went into the religious aspect. Islam is not against dogs, it doesnt say in islam to kill dogs please go educate yourself...the PEOPLE are killing the dogs because theyre idiots not because islam is telling them too. As a matter of fact in islam it teaches you to treat any animal the same...to feed them, treat them with respect and care for them. Again the people in the middle east are idiots for this kind of act islam has nothing to do with this, please leave religious point of views out of this...Also I asked about what type of dog to get...
@@allyah5955 get this dog.. Trust me! It loves the sun so much and just would love to be taken care of and petted! I have one and she loves the sun! She sits out there for ever
Ally Ah Not all of us Americans think bad of Islam. Some of us just think bad of the "powers that be" of all races..and all countries (America included). This is a great dog to get. I guess you wrote this a year ago. All I care with anyone is that they take care of whatever do they get..means also get one you can handle. This dog is the easiest dog to take care of. Whoever says it's an easy dog is being completely honest.
My "K9 bro" is the same color...he's 7! You must mention this breed cannot be a "leashless" dog...because they are wanderers...Meet up breeders@dog shows where you can see a variety of colors they come in...
Strange, my dog loved to walk with me on leash. But she was very much a dog, so when I moved off the acreage, I made sure that she got her off-leash time. She would run and explore fo about 45 minutes then come back to walk on-leash again. Very accommodating little dog. As long as I didn't pull that "Me human. You dog." nonsense. Then she'd just stare at me like I've lost my marbles.
i have a 7 year old one, my best friend. but lately he has out smarted me by hiding in places were i cant get to, once he is there he starts to weep for dog candy or ham, and also cuddle, im worried. he has never behaved so primetive, he is steril the synthetic way, he is also very agressive and protective of his food and us, when we walk with him. we have to get him away from bicyclist and joggers otherwise he will lunch at them. he's previously owner was my mom who had an abusive boyfriend. i somtimes wonder that there is no one stronger then my louie
Tibetans are a combo of Peek and Japanese chin. The emperor of China mated a peek to an unknown dog to get the Chin and the Tibetan is the mix of peek and chin. This makes Tibetan 3 quarters peek and an unknown breed. The spaniel on the the Tibetan has proven to be a misnomer. No documentation that anyone has found.
I've owned 6 tibbies. Monster lived to be 18 years and I still miss him 7 years later. Bernardetta is now 16 and slowly slowing down (she is quite deaf and very far-sighted and since recovering from Valley Fever, she limps worse from a broken leg when she was a puppy, but nothing can stop her, she just takes more naps). Tukee is 14 and still going strong, He is the biggest baby I have (I call him "babydog"). Jasper is 3 and a character. Wendy and Surprise-Surprise are from the same litter and are 2 years old. Surprise and Wendy are the most affectionate and even tempered dogs I've ever seen. They never get mad and just want to love love love all the time. Having a pack of 5 tibbies is amazing. They all love each other (and loved my Siamese, until the coyotes got him a few weeks ago--I hate coyotes). The young ones are tender and gentle with the older ones. Bernie, who is my alpha female runs the house. It's funny to see her laying into the young ones. She will sit and bark in their faces until they roll on their tummies and give up. They adore Tukee and lick his mouth regularly. They all play together and with us. Only Wendy will try to chase my chickens, but I keep them carefully away from her. I've had tibbies for over 20 years now and I will never want to be without some. I guess I could be a hoarder, but 5 is enough for anyone! They have no problems with other dogs visiting or with people (wendy is not fond of women though--she just ignores them and cuddles closer to me--she is my baby girl).
