My name is Warren and I run DFC Industries. We specialize in forestry mulching, driveway rehab and creation, demolition of small structures, seed bed prep and construction site prep. I enjoy taking videos of different jobs and the maintenance side of the business. Welcome to Demolition, Forestry, and Construction Industries.
Id like to run 2 seperate sets of teeth, take one set off for touchup grinding, put new set on to finish the day. Then switch in morning. I'd make a jig to hold tooth n only allow the correct angle to be ground. Then even a new guy can grind without screwing teeth up.
I'm very pleased with its capabilities. I'll be selling mine here soon as I will be replacing it with a processor. The dependability of the Woodmizer unit has been great.
Was looking forward to your video but I think the time lapse was set to fast couldn’t watch it and get any focus.Hopefully you next one will be better as I’ve subscribed 👍🏴🇬🇧
Someone might ask, “Why does forestry mulching cost so much?” The answer: Because it’s worth it.😊 Great looking lot after mulching. Glad to hear of no mechanical issues as well.
Warren, what is your opinion of the self-sharpening Gyro-Trac teeth? Also, what is the cost comparison of the teeth on your mulcher vs the self-sharpening kind?
I would not be able to give a good opinion because I have not tried the self sharpening configuration. If they sent me a set, I could surely give an in-depth review and comparison.
It will if a number of factors are present. I'll run a video on improving all cooling system performance. Interval maintenance and cleaning are key. Mine does not overheat and the AC blows very cold and strong.
I feel this too much "back n forth" is for the camera than actually doing work. Total waste of resources. If you are not preparing for a golf tournament, I don't see why you do this. Great machine but this is easy work and not Hollywood show. Mulch and Move.......
Hello RU-vid expert. I feel that you talk from the rear end and just about anything you have to say is a waste of time. Move along with your expert opinion and realize that there are reasons why certain things are done beyond your comprehension. This may be too much for your education, experience or ego level but I think it's for the best. Good luck with your future inexperienced commentary. I'm sure others appreciate your diarrhea of the mouth.
@@DFCIndustries Could also say it is better to see what is coming up in the thick stuff, instead of just rolling the dice and hoping too not hear a loud bang, then have a busted mulcher and the very worst a busted skid steer.
I love this machine, the video not so much, after marker 6;20 to 8;50 looking at a blank stage. want to see the action close up, need to jump out and move the camera
I appreciate your words of wisdom but as you may know there is a method to the madness. ... or maybe you don't know. May I ask if you speak from experience or the rear end?
@@DFCIndustries I think what they are trying too say. Why go forward a little bit, then back up immediately? Why not just go forward and finish up a strip then back up to tidy that strip, over little bites and little chunks at a time?
Would have been better if the camera was closer so we could see what you were actually doing. Good pictures of the machine though, especially the rear end.
Im looking at getting into land clearing myself. Im looking into a Kubota SVL95 or 97 depending on the deal my local dealer will give me. Im having trouble finding what Insurance to get for the land clearing business. Do you have any tips on that?
I am not sure you want to achieve with your channel but either way you need both a POV camera in the cab and one set back. I won't say your vids are boring but I would say they could be more interesting. Again it's where do you want to go with your channel. You can explain the job before you start and a summery after complete. Thousands make income off RU-vid just to pay for maybe some additional electronics or equipment repairs. Again what do you want? The more time and effort you put into your work the greater amount of views, and subscribers. I never knew this type of work was being done out there till I stumbled upon a few videos. Talk about your equipment why you chose it. You know educate the viewer. Getting a large viewer base can be both rewarding and a curse. Just ask some who have 250,000 subscribers. Good luck, I did like the video just so your work pops up on my feed from time to time. Ask your family and friends to provide some input, people whose opinion you respect.
I do appreciate your constructive criticism. The big bottle neck is time and priorities. The amount of time that it takes to create a film can and will ultimately take away from the amount of time I spend focusing on the job. The priority at the moment is focused on the client or the work to be handled. I definitely will get better at camera implementation and communication with the audience. I really can't wait to create so many videos. The goal of the channel is to educate folks on the ways of the forestry mulcher and all the accompanying systems. I know my videos are boring but right now I use them for potential client education and familiarization. I have a project I'm about to do. Top Secret but I will be creating a cool video soon.
@@DFCIndustries I understand I think some of those with large subscriber base have help editing content, I have done just a few motorcycle ride vids for some family and friends and is a major project every single time. I think this process is an excellent way to clear land for whatever reason. I have seen much larger versions of this process on clearing land along state highways where I live. It is perfect process to clear land and provide a thick mulch to prevent erosion all in one pass.
@@ezraccompetitiveshooter8350 If filters are kept clean and all vents cleared properly you will not over heat. I will eventually run a video on full clean of the machine to improve multiple system performance. Cleaning frequencies and other helpful tips. The machine will overheat if it is not properly maintained.
@@ezraccompetitiveshooter8350 When deep forest mulching and your ventilation and cooling points are getting clogged I would do every 2 hrs. Turn off machine, exterior blow, cab blow, close cab door, open rear and blow, remove outer engine air intake filter and leaf blow it while holding it away from the machine, reinstall, close up, inspect tracks, undercarriage, and hydraulic lines, get back top work. The leaf blower is one of the most important tools. I use a Husqvarna 580BTS. Sucker blows!
