im in the film industry and to put anything on IMDB you MUST have proof that the project actually exists (video proof, photo proof, contractual proof, budget, etc, etc) tbh it’s more effort to put your damn projects on imdb, than it is to work on them wouldn’t be suprised if this turned out to be real and more ppl got added to it
I genuinely couldn't care less if they completely remove every fanmade level because the community will bring it back, i just want to be able to play lbp online again, it didn't matter if we were friends playing the game, it could've been the most random people, yet the community bonded over the simple fact that the game was amazing, it was fun, many game creators have no clue how to do that and it makes me sad, nowadays the only thing creators do to make a game "fun" is making it competitive the story of lbp games was amazing and i wouldn't swap it for anything else, and the online levels were so fun, no matter how janky they were
They wasted an entire console generation on 1 game and it flopped horribly. Almost concord numbers bad. Its a shock they didnt get shutdown after that. They need to bring little big planet back in a big way to be a viable studio again. Just make a definitive little big planet sequel on pc and ps with crossplay and live service support. They’ll make enough income to support future projects for years to come
I’d like to correct some stuff here. Originally in Skate to Victory, you would have taken a boat to The Seaside. The Creator Curator was named Captain Victor. This name was found by Devil_Does_Tango in the files of the Deploy Build, and a picture of his Polaroid can also be seen in the files of said build. Victor was not the pirate you showed in the video, that pirate was simply named “Angry Angry Pirate”. The footage in the background is not the levels from the Deploy Build, which is where the levels were found. Instead, they’re from somebody’s “Seaside Remastered” project. Kinda bugs me how much is wrong in this.
If MM make LBP4, it's got to be so fundamentally different from what we already have to justify making another one because otherwise it'd just be more of the same which isn't what we want. LBP3 was so innovative (which was its detriment to an extent) that there is little they could expand upon in a potential 4th game leaving the possibility likely to be just more of the same with a new plot which doesn't sound like MM at all. It'd have to be so different to justify its existence but at the same time, being too different would sacrifice it's intergity and image as a littlebigplanet game. Suffice to say...this game isn't happening. The best thing MM could do is Remaster 1 and 2 for Playstation 5 with brand new servers and include any DLCs they made for these games; of course excluding obvious brand/IP integrations that got removed... since you can no longer buy DLC for LBP1 or LBP2. It'd be a lot of work upscaling all the sticker textures and some would have to be redone entirely, and of course certain copyright tracks may have to be removed if they no longer hold the respective rights...but i know they're capable of doing this. And bring back Steven Fucking Fry for gods sake and have him do a welcome back speach for the intro of either remaster
