arthur brown was probably the nicest person you ever want to meet, i talked with his daughter and she told me about growing up with him as her dad and he was the kindest loving person father husband and friends she was and still is very proud of her dad !
The best part about Leonard Cohen (which was increaing rapidly as he got older, tho I love his early songs best), is that he had this unique mix of a prophetic fire, a rebeliousness of an everlasting teen and the whole cynicism of a guy who was sitting in the heavy rain over last 40 000 years and nobody ever gave him an umbrella.
NOOOO you´re an idiot... !!! do you really not understand what is happening there??? What does it mean to be human with human needs and to be God´s son and really have doubt about everything?? You´re such a basic and simple man!!! Yeee... how can anyone explain 2 you...??? You are an imbecile man!!
The lead singer (Michael aka Milli) wrote this as a testament to his love for his then fiance and soon after wife. there are songs you like. and love. then theres songs like this that go into your playlist . his voice is otherworldly. they are still playing today and are Mega Stars in South Korea. hide your glassware.
You should stop moving around and just listen to the song to have an honest reaction.. You happened to choose my al time favvorite Dead Can Dance song to react to, but you looked like you were in pain through the second half of it .
I wonder why no one has left a comment on your reaction.. hmm could it be because you are disrespectful towards the band and the song and appear immature? Hmm let me think. To follow your reasoning, why should anyone give a **** about your reaction? Good point. Have a wonderful day.
She is a Lutheran Good woman and mother. She could expect something from God. This is a nerv wrecking showdown with God, where she against all odds claims he must exist. Otherwise her life would be without meaning.
How can people actually think this song is about what Benny claimed it was about. He came up with that story when Radio stations were refusing to play it. It's clear as day what the song is about. Having sex with a kid...come on.
Bingo music is absolutely not what I've ever thought about when hearing this song, lol! 🤣 The bingo parlors I've been in played super old 40's & 50's country. Hank Williams, Ray Price, Bob Wills, Patsy Cline, etc. I'd say it's closer to elevator music, but that's probably because I've heard it in a few elevators.
It's interesting how people have different tastes. I absolutely hate "Thrill" by Band-Maid, which you seem to like very much. I still can't believe that that song has so many views. I got so bored of listening to it that I stopped right after the first chorus. I've never listened to any Band-Maid song to the end because all their songs sound so boring to my ears that the word "boring" doesn't even begin to describe them.
