But do you realise that the normans (french, originally norwegian), the angles (dutch/german), the vikings (swedish/norwegian), the saxons (germans), and the romans (italians) were "immigrants" to these shores? There is even some evidence to suggest that Stonehenge was built with knowledge of construction brought by Anatolian (Turkish) people who made their way to England and even possibly introduced agriculture here. Unless you're 100% pre-roman celtic, you're unlikely to be "native" to this land. Even further, humans have been moving around the face of this entire planet for the last 30,000-100,000 years, since many of us left Africa. We are all therefore originally African immigrants. When have anti-immigrants views and movements ever caused something positive and helpful for humanity in the end? We all need to understand and accept that humans are a species that naturally moves around the planet and try to live and thrive alongside each other.

how are identity cards going to solve anything. The police can't ask you. Your name and address unless you are committing a crime Or suspicion of committing a crime. Or when you are driving. Oh, I see what you mean now. You only want id cards for refugees and immigrants.

Great times. Sadly, gone, but never forgotten. A time when life was much simpler, uncomplicated. Great Britain now is unrecognisable. I’d like our country back, please. We’ve been corrupted by social media, big business and corrupt politicians, ( All of them.) I feel sorry for the young of today who will never understand the freedom and quality of life we had in the 6o’s and 70’s. And, we had very little, but did’nt whinge endlessly.
So clad these days are in the past ,much better today with homelessness, drugs ,machetes and kinfe crime all over the place ,disrespectful people and selfish people, and police of the establishment instead of the bobby on the beat that was respected and made sure all was well ,yes today so good .

The young people on this show Always Say Something Is "tatty" or Horrible. They're Always Wrong & Look So Silly & Juvenile against Their Expert. They're Ridiculous and hard to watch.
Brings back lots of memories the Mander Center was a lot better then especially when you could go from top to bottom without useing the lift and useing the spiral stairs to go from one floor to the other, happy memories ❤
I want to go back to the sixties ! What charm , I don't like my country now. That was proper diversity when each region had a separate character, there was work aplenty, life seemed kinder, gentler, less materialistic, more sense of community and belonging. A great watch, I loved it ❤
I was born in early 60s i remember simple times like these. I loved going to Herne bay , Swanage and Weymouth as a child. i have so many happy memories. Everything seems so crowded and fast paced now. We spend a lot of our holiday time in Lanzarote a very chilled place , its Spanish in culture obviously, but a little bit old fashioned in some ways.
Our Family were lucky enough, to grow up in Dawlish, Devon, UK, back in the 60's and early 70's. We had the best of both worlds living in a Seaside Town that had rolling fields and hills as its backdrop. It was a great place to grow up as a child. 😊👍🇬🇧
