31:44 Yanami built a lot of Catapults. They are not great in defense. Can barely scratch mammoth. It would be so much easier to repel an attack if he built demons instead of catapults.
I won this by resurrecting a Cortex constructor bot, which I used to build an advanced bot lab in my base. Then I scaled up my economy and used 20 Sheldons to dominate the front line. As I kept scaling up my economy, I ended up building 9 Mammoths. They would have been enough, but I threw 25 Hailstorms in before attacking with the Mammoths.
@@Requiem_tv True, but I'd thought I had the mission won a few times before being crushed. Nukes would have been quicker, but less satisfying. Not so much an overkill as a Total Annihilation 😁
Yanami is Chisato actually (also known as Yudi.) He is a pro FAF player, and started playing BAR recently, like last year maybe. He won the Alpha Cup #4 in April, by the way.
You can have a like and subscribe for the simple reason that you're not Brightworks lol, there's like nobody making videos for this game aside from that cringe basement dweller
@@Wunderz Every time I watch one of his videos there's no less than ten minutes spent hovering over new players and shaming them for all their mistakes, repeatedly, while praising the players telling the noobs to die IRL in the chat. People like that shouldn't even be allowed to play the game let alone make content for it lol
at the moment not as easy as you would hope. In peak time theres normally atleast 1 1v1 lobby on the go. some times it takes a little while for people to join. But there is regular torneys and an event called Fight night thats 1v1 that takes place every saturday.
I watched a couple of his 1v1 casts... He's an awesome play-caster and he's amazing in Micro and early game harassing. He seems to always fall apart with mid-late game as he hasn't gotten the timing right for T2 Transitions and T2 economy scaling. Once he masters the t2 timing and mid to late game economy... he will rise to be one of the best. I am sure that as he re-watches games like this, he will learn and significantly improve... Still, I am sure he would destroy me as I watch more than I play... and I suck. So easy to talk when we just watch... there is always so much going on.
Indeed, i cant wait to see him play against some of the top players once he has gotten the game down abit more. And when it comes to him vs me, he would also destroy me :D my micro is no were near good enough and i get too tunnel visioned
@@Requiem_tv I blame age lol. My peak gaming skill is 20 years ago in Starcraft and Counterstrike Beta up to 1.5 pre-steam with triple digit Mhz Single core CPU's, late 56k dial up to early dsl.
Damn that was touch and go around the time of red T2 transition, but he managed to just send enough harass groups around the map to clear out blue bit by bit
Yeah, I'm waiting too, but he really should watch some "how to basics" and learn meta - but he refuses to do it, cause he want to learn all by himself. But this is not SC2, list of combinations/strats/shenanigans is too big. I know that figuring out things by ownself is really fun, but in this game there is always something to figure out. And this attitude really slows down his progress. Still, great player who manage to learn fast by himself, but he could be frickin amazing already if...
@@marcelturowicz6252 Consider: as a Pro from Starcraft, they are used to trying new and odd strats and iterating on them to catch people who use meta off guard. Learning the game their way means they'll have a different perspective and come up with something new.
@@marcelturowicz6252 I completely agree; I'm not sure if it's a strategy to make more content or because he just doesn't learn things in that kind of a way, or some combination of both. If he tried to learn air control through trial and error, well, it's going to take a really really long time.
@@side-beeetaloniswolfwolfac4179 I mean, you must know the meta first to catch somebody offguard. And I am convinced that UThermal can be top tier player with his brain and reflexes. But no human is able to run before learning how to walk. All creativity and imagination comes from memory. Even Solomon won't pour from an empty cup.
@@Strauss- He's mentioned advanced solors/extractors on his second channel - I think he's just familirising himself with the fundamentals, so forgets.
@@Requiem_tv Quite possibly! The tech tiers feel strange to me as an SC2 player. I also get sucked into building only basic solar collectors lol. Perhaps because it feels like supply depots? I should add, I've been binge-watching your content for the past week. Thanks so much!
Saw this match on his channel. For now he is a 1 trick pony ;) Super micro and knows how to build tanks or bots. T2 confused him, imagine what he can do once he figures out the game proper.
In the top right of the map, when uthermals tank was firing at the ground, was him A-moving that group, telling them to shoot the ground instead of the tanks. In Bar, right clicking IS the sc2 equivalent to A. Once uthermal gets another year in he will be scary.
will mines detonate if friendly units move over them? do the mines show up on radar? if they do show up, if you order units to move do, they avoid the mines?
Mines will not detonate on friendly units. No they do not show up on radar. Units will not path to avoid mines, You can fire at ground to kill the mines even when you cant see them. or you can use mineclearing tools (juno defence or the minelayer unit)
A request: Due to how youTube compresses video would you consider uploading in 1440? The ground gets all blurry everytime you move (which is all the time given the game we're watching) and at higher res it is clear at all times.
Why does red have his converters paced out? They will still chain. This just makes the attack surface larger. I see people do this all the time, but usually they are not 50 OS. Friends dont let friends space their converters where they still chain.
I feel like gunships are what hovercrafts used to be. Useful, but not in a brute force, direct combat style. But people are still figuring out the nuances of how to use them to say, cripple eco and soak shots for fighter wars.
Yea I get what ir saying. Thr nuke wouldn't have killed his com though so the game technically wouldn't have been over yet.but we all want to see the explosions. But yea he definitely knew it was over at that point.
