This umbrella has a high-class "windproof-system" - the frame is so flexible that it just flips completely in strong gusts of wind - and you can just close it without damage normally. Our umbrellas with so called "windproof-features" just have some fiberglass elements to make them more flexible and to avoid damage when falling down or putting them on the floor for drying.
