It must be an awful upheaval for a player to move clubs especially when distance is involved. There is family to consider, schools for the children etc. sometimes I think that players might not be overpaid. Sorry just an irrelevant thought.
Evening Max.... I hate to say it.....I don't think Leeds we're ready for the P.L this coming season... Next year yes.... Archie must stay, along with some others.. We deffo next buy player who is capable to score goals. Leeds to learn take corners.. MOT...
We all need that bit of excitement that a new signing creates. Resigned to losing Summerville but unsure of Gnonto as not sure if big bids come in for him.
Do we need that or just a change of system? We scored plenty of goals from the three in behind. Two deep midfielders are never gonna create and score much. Bielsa's 4-1-4-1 gives you another midfielder higher up the pitch. Archie Gray could play the Klich role.
Gilchrist and/or Johnson on loans or free transfers would be brilliant additions. Skipp at the moment would be too pricey. Intrigued about your left sided midfielder
@@LeedsLately oh yes! The problem is Rutter didn't score enough goals but he created a lot. If he goes to the left and the assists dry up and he doesn't score any more then we've lost something. Are we resigned to Summerville leaving? I'd like to see Bielsa's formation with just one holding player. The problem with two holding players is they can either both get caught out too high up the pitch or end up sitting too deep and you don't have the numbers in attack. If you create a disciplined role like Bielsa did with Phillips then there's always someone there to cover and move the ball forward quicker. Ampadu is well suited to that role.
@@LeedsLately it might make an interesting video looking at how our current players/potential signings would fit into Bielsa's system and if that could be the best system for us. I think it would suit Gray perfectly to play the Klich role.
@@clivet3252 Totally agree there, and he has made it known certainly through his brother that he's enjoyed being at Leeds and wants to stay if it were up to him, Spurs were always going to place him under contract as once again any player does well at Leeds and people take an interest!
@@timphillips4147 people look down at the Championship but it's one of the best leagues in Europe and we're one of the biggest clubs with a full stadium every week. When your career has stalled to be one of the best players at Leeds must be a good feeling and it's not like he'll be paid any less. It makes sense to go back.
@@clivet3252 you're right there but I even believe if Leeds were in league two, a good season for promotion back to the championship would still put players in the shop window. True we do have full stadiums but I think it takes a certain type of player to play good football at Leeds with the fanbase expectations for the club. Other clubs appreciate this and tend to imagine they'll be able to play well in any environment.
@@timphillips4147 that's true yes. We ended up winning the title with a lot of the players who got us up under Wilko. It's why we struggle for long periods. Playing for Leeds is like playing for a top 6 club wherever we are.
Doesn't necessarily mean that he's staying though, sometimes clubs will ask a player to do that so that they can still get some money out of them and retain their value
The first two are the best of a bad bunch There's no style to them It's blanket yellow or blue with minute splashes of white or yellow at least the first two as attempted to be stylish The one that's a copy of the yellow kappa shirt doesn't work I liked the big blue and white cuffs on the shirt and the socks I'd love the introduction of the smiley badge again It's miles better than the shield badge badge
Is there any way we can force them to not make the bulls red? I feel like it's not such a big ask.. Some kind of supporter petition or something? We're Leeds United.
The single yellow and blue strip is similar to the puma packard bell top the multi yellow and blue is the thistle hotels style which I love. Mine is the peacock versions they are lovely
I agree per the new badge, its the colours, they look shit, but when its eg white and black or white and blue or matching the kits colour then it looks good. Notts Forests badge last season is then best I’ve seen in a while
4:01 this is the third. Ink bold and lilac is the official colour swash. Got leaked on footyheadliners in November. Yellow for away too. They’re never wrong last 6 years
I have made some more mockups and you can view them on twitter via this link - x.com/Leeds_Lately/status/1799769082272895368?t=1lidTtsZ3xcYm7lPO6rpaA&s=19
@ronanfarrell405 great idea but unfortunately companies have 'brand guidelines' and these can refer to such things as: A set colour pallette that the logo can be changed to, certain dimensions that it has to stay within to ensure it isn't stretched or distorted, and they'll have a guideline on not changing the logo itself
I greatly prefer the two bulls over the text on the front. Also like the smiley face badge. Whatever they come up with, it certainly couldn't be worse than the kit that Radrizzani's son designed. I wouldn't mind another black and orange third kit as that was my favorite from last season.
