Hey There! I’m Tim. I’m a lover of Christ. Husband. Father of 3, and I’m on a mission to simplify business. You don’t want to work for the man anymore? You’ve had enough of the long hours and low pay? You’re in the right place. Oh! And I want to show you how to scale without going into debt….because let’s be honest, debt kills businesses and puts people in bondage. NO DEBT Allowed!!
Thanks for sharing. If you don't mind me asking what is a good price for inside + outside on windows of this size? I am trying to break into windows a bit more where I am at. Thank you.
Great question! You can get quick quotes from Next Insurance, or Acuity. And usually they are pretty affordable. Always super wise to protect yourself! I like the way you’re thinking! :)
Great question! I personally stick with word of mouth. One of our best tools have been the internet! Next Door, facebook communities, neighborhood websites. If you can get someone to talk about you online, your chances of getting hired by someone else goes up a lot! I have found this is a much more effective and efficient way to get quality clients.
It’s steel wool. The windows needed some extra love with getting some harder stains off. :) I’ve only ever used scaffolding once. Did a lot of high rise when I lived in KC though. I love being in the chair!
What is your opinion on starting a window cleaning business in the Bay Area, California? Considering that the seasonal climate doesn't necessarily change all that much as well as a lack of rain year round?
I’d say if the demand is already there, go for it! August is usually slow across the country because school is starting up, and people are busy! September tends to get busier. I’d say, if you want to start, NOW is a great time to prepare for September!
Hey @theflunkies8154 Here is a link to the belt I have. Usually, you have to take the belt clip off in order to pull it through the holster loop. Great question! www.window-cleaning-supply.com/lowrise/holsters-belts/
For commercial properties, I have never been asked about insurance. But it is imperative to have insurance before arriving to any job! Great question!!
@@simbathelionkingcat That’s great that you’ve never had an accident. I’ve never had one either, but….i would hate to have an accident and not have insurance. It’s like a skilled acrobat doing tricks with no net. I would still encourage even just a cheap liability policy.
Hey! Josh Lester is awesome! He has a bit of a different business style and uses mostly WFP, Which is great if you can afford it and aren’t afraid of door to door sales.

Hey Luke! Not anymore. I used to live in KC and had a house there. We ended up moving back to Colorado in 2020. I use to work with Heart of America window cleaning. I got high-rise and WFP experience with them. I hope to make a trip out soon though. I miss my community there and of course the barbecue! :)
Are you saying what qualifies someone to teach a subject is the number of subscribers they have on RU-vid? Cuz that’s hilarious. If you are interested in learning the industry, keep watch out for new FREE content! :)
When you knock on doors and get people to do your service, do you have them sign anything so you can make sure you get paid. Or do you just trust them to pay you after you do all the work
Hello @DariusRoberts-vg4rt! I normally don’t have problems with people paying. Usually we make an agreement, and I will send them a confirmation with how much the cost is so that way they can see it in the original bid.
Hello Adam! Great question! I normally ask for a check. I do this because if I charge a card, I get charged an extra 2%. I use a platform called Housecall Pro that allows me to send invoices to the customer if they are not home. I mostly take checks though. From time to time someone will pay with cash and it’s totally acceptable. :)
Hey tim! Had a sales pitch im thinking of trying soon for resedential homes - can you rate it? thanks. “Hey how are you, i'm around the area doing a couple neighbors houses cleaning the windows and wanted to pass by and see it you were open for a quote” and if they object it with saying it's ok we're good , just be like “okay that's fine, but i'll give you a quick price and i'll just take a look around it'll only take 30 seconds just so you know "
That’s great! Something you can add, is if you are already cleaning the neighbors windows, or landed a job with the neighbors, point it out. Give the original price, and then offer to take off $25 because their neighbor is already paying the trip fee. I’m excited for you! Go get ‘em!
Hello TJ! I appreciate your feedback! Lots of more free content to come. :) Considering the results and transformation that this industry is providing people, I'd say the pricing is spot on. I'd also like to add that, there is a money back guarantee on the course if for some reason you find that it's not helpful. Keep a lookout for more free content. I'd love to help you out in any way I can! Blessings brother!
Hello Santino! A great place to start is by going to any restaurant or coffee shop that you regularly go to. It's even better if you know the manager. Ask them if you can clean their windows! If you've been a good customer, give them an opportunity to be a good customer! "Hello, my name is Santino, and I've been a customer here for ______, and i've noticed that your windows could use some attention, and I happen to be a window cleaner. I normally charge ______, but since I love coming here, I would like to offer you my service at a discounted price today for _______. " I can have the job done today/tomorrow, and it will be quick and easy!
