Personally, I think it's a waste of time to farm sutras or incense in this manner, mostly because godborn exist, and sure, some will say, "well I can't beat satan" then just safety mode it, or if you want to feel like you earn it, then just cheese it with strategize, is not so deep, I personally did satan on safety, and now im going through my hard mode godborn run, and I plan on taking all the remaining superbosses on a regular strat without cheese or max stats, just for fun since I want to experience the battle for what it is, if anything, the only incense that are really worth farming in this manner, are the HP and MP incense, since well, we can't buy those on godborn, but I think this is still somewhat viable information to have up in case someone wants to do it like this, plus not everyone is willing to go into challenge and farm for money or buy the money mitama dlc.
Ok use this comment to get some findings for incense and sutra farming for partner spots. Reply and make sure its correct to ensure no misinformation. I will keep updating it. EDIT: After thinking about it, I will only update for HP and MP incense because those two aren't purchaseable even in Godborn. documenting incenses is less worth than sutra, because you can buy them in godborne, so not eing any documentation makes sense (and besides you can obtain some by doing negaciations)

I know a way! There are two spots in Bethel Egypt Approach - one on the right side below the highway gives you Health Incense, and one on the left side just after the climbing spot gives you Stamina Incense.
Thank you for the video, those informations are very difficult to find. I'm particularly looking for Aiding Sutra atm, any idea of where could i find it? Edit: just found it! Its farming spot is just after the first broken part of the road, at the top, when you come from Bethel Egypt Approach.
Balms are limited and fixed once per playthrough on partner spots but technically they aren't limited because your demon level up can sometimes give you balm as well. I found Calamity, Dark and Aiding Sutra in Bethel Egypt as well. Force is area 3. Idk about others
A bit unrelated to the kill but man Tzitzmitl is my favorite of the field debuffer demons, it's a shame that she and her group doesn't do much but swap in and out twice before getting swapped for amanozako. Her entrance animation with the ornaments is just satisfying to watch for some reason
Also low key wish that azazel/belial/tzitzmitl had a secondary effect related to lowered stats so they actually had a use outside of strategize shenanigans (ie tzitzmitl could offset the lowered accuracy/evasion with her own boost while she's in the active party, or just outright give a fat boost to that stat for that turn only while in the active party)

@@jakett2216an example cerberus--> slot 1, dps--> slot 2 Cerberus innate is STILL active after he switched out from his turn. Need to be on Cerberus turn though, thats important. I think the game consider his innate to be active even after all that. Now whether or not its a glitch or intended I have no idea. I'm just abusing it lol
Innate skill and strategize really has turned this game into a modern Yugioh gaming. What other Jrpg allows the player to actually otk the bosses besides Vengeance (and probably vanilla V)??
Off the top of my head - Persona 3 Reload (sometimes): Damage in that game is very high, and enemy health isn't very high even for bosses. Some bosses are scripted in such a way that their HP won't drop past a certain point until their turn comes back around, but others can be completed in 1 turn. Notably, Priestess (though skill change abuse is required), Emperor/Empress, Hierophant, Lovers, Strength/Fortune (presumably, I haven't verified this one), and Hanged Man (again, I haven't strictly verified this one) can be completed in one turn. Though Hermit, all Strega fights, and the final boss are essentially scripted in terms of how many turns they can be done in, and it's impossible to get the damage to defeat Chariot/Justice first turn (though it can be done with all the damage concentrated into one turn, just not the first one). - Paper Mario TTYD: If you've played the game, you know what Mega Rush/Mega Rush P enable - Pokemon games: While strictly winning fights in 1 turn is generally impossible due to how the game works, KOing each individual pokemon in 1 turn very much is. - Earthbound: There are 2 enemies in the entire game that are guaranteed to survive a Multi-Bottle Rocket. Against everything else those at least have a chance of being a delete button - Xenoblade Chronicles Series: While these games are in real time (so not a 1 to 1 comparison), there are some metrics that can be used as "otk" that are very achievable. Most fights in Xenoblade 3 can be done in under 15 seconds using Smash. Each game lets you kill most enemies in a single chain attack with the right setup. The first game you could win fights while "first 30 seconds" buffs are still in effect. X had a single enemy that couldn't just be one-shot (and that's only because it had 1 more HP than the damage cap). etc.
@@prometheus4026 lots and lots of savescumming. I fused lvl 99 of both materials (thoth and agathion) cuz both have magic blessed upon lvl up. It gave me around 8 or 9 extra mag stat from Warrior Conception. Jack Frost having magic blessed on lvl up helps as well. From there on, I just prioritise +2 or +3 every time Jack lvl up not including prayer miracle. Jack Frost actually can go beyond 250 Magic stat with only +3 but im not THAT patient for savescumming.
I honestly have no idea how Pandemonic Feast is supposed to work. I understand it increases the max hits of your multi hit attacks by two, but why does it sometimes make you do extra hits even against single targets? Does it remove the limiter that makes you only hit them the minimum amount of times?
As I understand it, Pandemonic Feast increase your max hit by 2. But in actuality, it sets in +0, +1, or +2 for the ranges. So sometimes you can get unlucky and hit 2 hits even on single target. All I know from others telling me is that on Aoe situation, say you use rampage on 3 enemies; you can hit enemy A two times and enemy B four times and thats the limit. Basically in Aoe, 4 hits is the limit under pandemonic feast on 1 enemy. On single target (which is actually where pandemonic feast and multi hit shine) the odds of you hitting 4 hits is 2/3 iirc. Basically even 7 hits under Feast is kinda rare unless you use Omagatoki Dance.
Man imagine if Paraselence Blur naturally Pierced, then you could be even more broken by using Transcendence (Actually wait does Transcendence count as a Charge effect for Omagatoki Charge? I'd assume so since it takes up the charge slot but I'm not sure)
I wish more demons got Fickle Personality, it’s one of my favorite Innates to build around. I used it on Yurlungur in tandem with Huang Long and Mermaid to beat Shiva in three turns. I never considered using the elemental enhancer innates to give Jack Frost an “artificial” proficiency with an element, I’ll have to try that in my next playthrough
Interesting. It looks like there are still many broken strats to pull from. I have a couple questions though. 1)Why keep switching out Garuda? It doesn’t look like the passive applies only for one skill. 2) I also noticed that you made it a habit to switch Garuda back in just before attacking with Jack Frost. Is there a particular reason for that? 3) Why use impaler’s animus if you know he’ll be weak to wind attacks? Is the dmg multiplier on concentrate lower?
1) Cerberus has Faithful Companion innate. By deploying Cerberus before the dps demon, it boost the damage if the demon after Cerberus hit weakness. By switching Cerberus to Garuda, Jack Frost gain Faithful Companion buff AND Force Enhancer. 2) See above explanation. 3) I'm using Impaler's Glory, which is 3.4x from Vile race (Baphomet here), I spread the buff from Baphomet to Arahabaki because of Khonsu innate. Animus is 1.3x and Concentrate is 1.8x. The only other buff that can reach Impaler Glory is Adversity but I'm not doing that because I'm lazy to deal with RNG. I'm sure Glory with Adversity will deal more damage but this isn't a speedkill showcase. Its to show Fickle Personality in action.
You don't need any fancy strats. Just know what magatsuhi skills his demons have, be lv99, enduring soul and your golden. Fight takes about twenty minutes. Be patient and think.
Has anyone tried to see the full potential of Metatron's "Ceaseless Crucifixion" on Satan or another Super-Boss? Almighty dmg for him increasing by 1% per number of hits dealt by allies that turn sounds like it has huge potential.
@@mynameisjeff6516 its not bad, but imo you pair him up with Huang Long (I have a video about Huang Long innate, read the description) Or pair him with Pandemonic Feast user plus Sandalphon for better fire of sinai.
I do think this design for Satan is really cool and I would imagine most people prefer this version, but I'm a little bummed it isn't the one from SMT2.
@@Kanzuki Well Atlus does change demon designs often, but they're usually for a specific game and in other iterations they stick with classic Kaneko designs. I just assumed that the Satan design they went with here would be exclusive to 4Apocalypse, so when it wasn't I was just a little surprised is all.
@@DrummerDucky Kaneko Satan superboss was a nightmare and makes the Doi Satan superboss look like a joke. I still have ptsd from grinding the clear for that fight.
Magatsuhi plunder does 2 things. First it guarantees that Satan is going to use a Magatsuhi skill next turn. The exact skill he uses depends on who he absorbed. The second effect is that his affinities change to those of whoever he just absorbed

@@MitsuSV xiezhai essence for mc, xiezhai himself and arahabaki plus gogmagog is 23 weakness. 1 weakness is 5% crit dmg. 23 is 115% multiplier. And yes, ailment weakness do count on xiezhai for gog innate.
