Hi Polina. I also lived in a small town in Hessen for almost 3 years. A few months ago I moved to a bigger city that suits me much better. Here I also contacted the GGI | community Girls Gone International and I made friends because all the girls only communicated in English. I'm glad you're back on the channel. I hope to see you much more often from now on.
What a pity we don't live in the same country, we could be friends because it seemed you were describing my life :) Nice video, it's refreshing to find realistic vlogs. I also live abroad (different country in Central Europe, but I come from Spain too, so I kind of understand the feeling) and I totally relate to how difficult it is to find friends in your 30s, especially if it is something that, at least for me, implies getting out of my comfort zone. Thank you for posting!
Hey Polina, good on you doing another video while being a full time work and being a mum. It's good to see what you have been up to. Your little girl looks so cute with her hair. So happy your enjoying your job too xxx I watched till the end. Where you live looks nice and green too xx
The job market is crazy right now...I found my company back in 2022 on Linkedin, but then my contract finished, while I was pregnant and had my kid. And then I was lucky to find out that somebody was leaving and they rehired me. But I've heard it's insanely difficult to find a job right now everywhere...good luck!
Hola que tal? Tengo una pregunta, tengo la tarjeta de larga duración la de 5 años. Como puedo trabajar en Alemania con la misma o tengo que tener algo más para venir a trabajar en alemán? Gracias antemano
some of the things you mentioned are definitely small-town issues in Germany, and small town Bavaria is really really provincial. Not speaking the laguage and working from home is definitely not helping. One common form of advice for this situation is to join a Verein (often called a Club in Germany, especially for sports; every German town, however small, has a bunch of them), another would be to join an adult education course. [if you were religious, especially catholic, there is also the Church...] Speaking some German would help here, but it works both ways, joining a verein is also a way of improving your German without the drudgery of direct study. As a random suggestion: join a chess club.
I'm struggling to remember, but I think you can apply as soon as the baby is born, they take a while to approve it (especially if you´re a foreigner), so the earlier, the better!
6:19 I am originally from slovakia, lived in Canada, Uk, Kuwait, Mexico, Japan now in Spain and after 10 years in Spain i feel that i never find home here, people are not cold but very lazy and their standard of work is lets say lower then anywhere in Europe ( Greece excluded),also working with Spanish people is .........well you end up to do all the work n because you are serious about your job ,you become outsider ,because everyone can see their laziness. When i worked when with German people i was extremely happy n it was real pleasure.
Hey mate......i feel all that matters in life is honesty(i.e, authenticity)......and being honest is the most devastating thing beacuse it will make us lose many things which we thought as worthwhile in life.....but without losing those things and aspects there would be no room for authenticity to flourish...... I dont know what you are going through right now.....but i feel you will be definitely be moving towards the journey of authenticity...... because you seem to naturally evolve towards authenticity....... I am telling this after watching some of your videos and looking how you are evolving so far......yes somethings might be fallen..... somethings might be lost......but i feel you always have authenticity when you are losing all other things...... Keep going mate......
Hello from Switzerland, first of all, your comment that there are many places worth seeing in Switzerland is absolutely correct. Anyone who only visits the cities and possibly 1-2 mountain peaks has missed the most special and worth seeing. What you have to say about Lauterbrunnen is that, in addition to being known, it is also very easy to reach and therefore inevitably attracts more people than, for example, the Engstlensee (the Oeschienensee would also have been an alternative, but this may be less accessible, especially with a stroller). I hope you have fond memories of these days and inspire you to visit again.
one more thing, I'd suggest you just skip appointing in school for the theorircal test, everything is available online and you'd save youself the 150€(more or less).
Spain is so diverse culturally, geographically and climate-wise that it really makes no sense to talk about Spain when making comparisons. Germany is not that diverse, not even close.
