Hello i think your set up is very nice!ive being trying to get some colorants for myself and ive found a couple distributors that can sale but i havent had any luck with the formulas would you maybe happen to have a contact point for that or such ?thank you!
Tried a few times the 25’ whip hose and always problems with the pressure and could hear the machine not running smoothly. On the hydraulic pump pump you wouldn’t hear that but on piston pump like my graco 495 was impossible to use. Soon as I switched to regular 1/4 hose, you couldn’t even hear the pump on fine finish spray tips.
@@cabinetrenu1783 nice!! I’ll check out 1/8th hose , any issues with pressure ? Titan ships them with the 1/4 out the box , did you attach your pressure gauge at the pump or gun, just got my 3000 yesterday so if you got any tips / tricks, I’d be happy to hear :)
@@91vj I put the gauge at the pump. Depending on the paint you can start at 1600psi and a .308 tip. Adjust from there. Other than that they are pretty simple and bulletproof
Molding and cabinet joints are different from floating door panels. They have less of a chance of having a joint failure but it certainly can happen and it becomes a maintenance issue. We use Quick to coat caulk.
So happy to see actual professionals using GOOD PRODUCTS. You got folks on youtube rolling emerald urethane on cabinets saying you don't even have to sand...so frustrating to see. Lovely work boys!
Very intrested in your diaphragm pump! Looks good with very little overspray! If you were spraying clear lacquer or conversion varnish would you have a better quality finish with a diaphragm or an air assisted airless?? I refinish existing kitchens. I enjoy an AAA , but have never used a diaphragm pump?? Looking forward to your opinion ! just jim
Love your test and information! I didn't hear you say if you scuff sanded the clear UV panels before spraying these sealers?? Your test did prove the(sp?) isolaunty adhears well.....but I would be afraid to apply with out sanding!! My whole job and reputation is at risk just for not sanding between coats..... Also the video ended suddenly. Leaving me feeling like I missed some good Information.....so good test. Good information...... just jim
I agree on the sanding. On a project we will always sand but for the purpose of testing we sometimes omit that step just to show how it might perform even in less than ideal scenarios
On cabinets with vinyl ends they are built with a 1/4" overhang on the face frame so we tuck the panel behind the face frame overhang and it ends up flush
For the Ilva 710 2K paint, do you have a recommended primer over factory pre primed solid core slab doors? I was considering not adding a primer, but I'll want to touch up minor dings and scratches with some 3M high strength or Ready Patch, and figure I'll need primer over that.
I am getting ready to work on some older oak cabinets and know i will have tannin bleed. I was thinking of putting on the isolante (milesi) for the adhesion then putting on bin over that to help fill before top coats. Do you think that would be a solid method. I would rather work with WB products but I have to be able to block the tannins
The Milesi Isolante is actually purchased from IC&S and repackaged. They mostly sell the single component version and it's not very good. Get the 2k isolante directly from IC&S.
