I think one other reason why Kirsty couldn't capture Jackson and Nicola on the train could be that there were too many people around them. If you was a passenger on that train, and you see someone going after someone on the train, it could easily instigate a fight between the hunter and other passengers. Maybe fir her safety, she couldn't capture them there fir that reason.
Hello again Michael, Anthony and Michelle. Bloody F’ing hell. That was a good final episode. I found that train sequence to be pretty bloody tense considering the clear fake out last weeks teaser trailer fed us and Sade getting to the very end when it almost seemed like we would have our version of the Dutch Hunted speedboat scenario (either Sade not making it in time or getting nabbed within spitting distance of the extraction vehicle). Either way, I enjoyed this episode, I think primarily because I was convinced the hunters would win and that I was wrong in the process. Deserved winners and now that’s a permutation that can be ticked off the Hunted winners bingo card. One prediction of mine that seems to potentially hold weight is the idea that this could be the last series of civilian Hunted as there wasn’t the call for participants for series 8 at the end. Looks like this show will join TAR on that Viking funeral boat. And , of course, … MOTORBIKES. Anyways, looking forward to the recap in a few days time. Stay well, all the best to the three of you and until our paths cross once more inside the inter webs, auf wiedersehen.
I've just watched the finale and I think I need a lie down! I think it's 50/50 on another civilian series - it's still been winning the timeslot which is a good sign so I think I'd hold out a bit of hope - it's certainly not going out with a whimper.
Let’s hope not. But, if it does, great way to go out on this one. Dunno about you, but whilst watching, the moment when it was revealed that the hunters got on the wrong train confirmed it for me that Jaxon and Nicola were going to win. Even at the very end, it was still a coin flip on Sade.
Alex! Lovely to hear from you again! I don't know what to think anymore - just finished the episode and I'm so much less confident in my predictions! There's obviously a lot of monkeying with the timeline this episode, but I think that Cameron is still the best hope for a win, maybe with Sade. I think given how close the Hunters seemed to be on that train, Jaxon & Nicola might fall at the final hurdle. Genuinely don't know what Ant & Michelle will predict when we speak tomorrow!
Hi Michael, Anthony and Michelle. Alex here. Hope you’re all well. Just finished watching the fifth episode and now I am comfortably give you my prediction. Honestly, I had a gut feeling about this for some time, considering the lengthy delay between filming and release of this series, but my early predictions for this series was a clean sweep for the hunters and my mind hasn’t changed once. This series had total vibes of series 4 all over again and I believe that the same is going to happen this time next week. I’ve been listening to your thoughts over this series and have enjoyed your discussions as always. Although I went it this series completely blind unlike the previous series’, the fact that there was such a gap in time between filming and release led me to believe that either: this series had been scrapped entirely due to poor caliber of fugitive, or that everyone got nabbed so quickly that they never even reached the point of even finding out where extraction was. In my opinion, I think the writing is on the wall for Hunted. I can easily see it becoming a ‘celebrity-only’ series around SU2C time and the civilian version will be let go and will be no more after series 7. Shame. You know for a fact that I’d be there for Hunted: All-Stars. Alas, it will never be. But that’s just my opinion. Where are your thoughts lying at the point in time? Looking forward to hearing what you three have to say during midweek. 👍🏻
Hi Mateusz, yep - she's the one that looks like Anna! She's wearing a bright orange hat and a red dress and gloves - very visible when Justin is in the receiving line at the back of the shot.
First of all what a great Suspect List. I like very much how this game/test was put together. It's so nice with the drag and drop option and the distribution of points per rank. Second I would like to say: When you guys are recording the podcast, is there an option to record this podcast with a higher volume? I have to rais my volume very high to be able to hear you guys better. (and I forget all the time that I have raised the volume when switching to other RU-vid videos. You can understand already what happens 🙂) If that's possible it would be nice. Thank you guys,
Hi Van, yep - I can definitely try and give it a boost! I'm always conscious of not deafening everyone so I think it's usually set to somewhere between about -3dB and -5dB but last week was a bit of a tough one to get right! With regards to the Suspect List, I'm so glad you like it! Can't take any credit myself cause it was built by the brilliant Thomas but I'll pass on your nice message :)
Gilles Van Bauwel is there as a liaison between candidates and production, because after last year they wanted someone who knew what they are going though as a sound board. And he films some behind the scènes each week.
The reason that they don't want Lieselot on the walkie is because she talks with that distinctive flemish dialect that only Thomas understands especially if she talks fast.
As an Indonesian, Galang Island is a refuge center for Vietnamese refuge up until 1996 (there were civil wars in Vietnam, IRC). My high school English teacher used to teach English there. Now Galang Island houses a big Covid hospital.Bali is just a province in Indonesia (not autonomous). There is no South Vietnam, just Vietnam
Thanks! Hung actually gave us a little clarification on Twitter on Sunday when the episode released, so I'm definitely going to do a correction in the next ep - we're never too proud to admit our ignorance!
My take on TAR33: I think it could still happen. They’re only gonna need between two and three to film which is a somewhat reasonable amount of time to ask off of work. I don’t think filming will happen until a vaccine is widespread though, so maybe late 2021/early 2022 to be realistic. And once they start filming, they’re probably gonna do double legs in each country and stick to places that had strong COVID responses (i.e. New Zealand/Greece/Germany/Denmark/smaller island nations). It likely wouldn’t be the best season but I’m hopeful that it will happen
Eh, I'm still not 100% confident it'll film! I think it'll take a break regardless, but having said that TARAU is persisting with filming an entire season in THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE right now, so anything could happen.
Yeah, I'm inclined to take it with a pinch of salt. Phil is the show's biggest cheerleader which is a good thing, but it doesn't make him an entirely reliable narrator...
I always have held Megan in high regard, but now she's risen about 100x! The only downside of this is that you didn't ask her about Rolly Weaver calling her "thunder thighs" (which, for the record, was complete BS).
That's false Scottish notes can be used in the rest of the UK there's only the chance that the shop may refuse it due to uncertainness of it being an actual note and not a forgery.
Nice Podcast! I think my tunnel vision is strong this season with Nathan (only just finished episode 5) I wondered how you are planning to watch de mol belgie 2020 if the RU-vid account decides to not upload this year? Any tips?
Hi Andrew, great to hear from you! If Natalia can't subtitle this year, I think we'll just try and stumble through unsubtitled - we managed it for the finale last year when we were at Kinepolis so it shouldn't affect our coverage too much :)
I thought the extraction point was unfair and let 1 escape and by what one contestant said the produces dare you and know if hunters are near by so I think it should be filmed with go pros
It was a absolute pee take. How can you make a extraction point a helicopter and have all the hunters surrounding. And how on earth did the hunters know it was a helicopter. Complete shambles and a fix
I sincerely hope the casual TARCAN Facebook fans are happy that international legs are no more, because I certainly am disappointed - and the fact that it *somehow* manages to have an airing date so quickly after filming, while TAR31 has to wait more than a year before airing... that is just insane to me, tbh
Who else thought it was a completely lost opportunity to not even MENTION the relationship between Rachel and Britney pre-show, especially given the way Janelle and Britney were eliminated. Not to like push it, but it would have been nice to mention it during say leg 3 when the BB Alliance was made or something. Also, yeah. Scott was the one who put in the joke about Brooke in his bio.
Honestly, it was the coolest thing I've ever done. They were so receptive to our bullshit that it made such a fun day. GDC has already said we can come back next year, so we'll be holding him to that.
Surprised you didn't point out that Kingdom Karaoke was already used in TAR Canada 4 in the amazing leg where our queens Kelly and Kate won a leg, the Annecredible Hulk happened, Ashley's face when Steph and Kristen give Frankie and Amy the Express Pass, we had Monty singing and Anne and Tanya almost sending Emmett and Jillian home. There's no shame in remember TAR Canada 2, 3 (Except finale) and 4.
@@RTVWarriors Let's be honest, we all want to see Shahla and Nabeela win a season. That would blow everyone's mind, in an amazing way (No, that was not intentional).
