I have finally, at 31 years, overcome my ingrained shame and understand why these people bear their bodies. So often in white culture, to bare your skin and body is sexualised, especially in ads. These dances are full recognition of themselves with respect to the creator and honouring their family's and way of life with all of the power of what it is to be a woman, with all of who they are. Thank you for this healing. I hope that you always have what you need.

Ken I am feeling so sad for you and your people that Australia voted NO bloody racists. I as a (dual) citizen became one solely to he able to supirt indigenous people with my voice to hopefully get a better chance to thrive as a race and culture and as the oldest living culture on earth. We all Australians should cherish this oldest luving culture in the world by giving you guts every opportunity to shine and grow in your OWN WAY but in conjuction with the non indigenous peoples cultures. Mum thought me as a luttle child these very wise and massivly important words: "live and let live Joyce". We all matter and we all belong. We arecall different and so we are allowed to. All these beautiful different cultures make our world vibrant and interesting. Not one person is "better" than another. Never let anyone tell you you are not good enough and that u dont matter. Thousands of years of unique accumulated knowledge wrapped up in this one gentleman. Precious. So pleasing to hear him speak in his native tongue. Having once lived among Aboriginal people in the western desert almost 50 years ago, I remember it as beautiful to hear.

I make it clear at the outset I am sickened by and detest all of the events that happened in relation to these Coniston killings. Except for those that were innocent and running away. I have issue with the way the video portrays Dinny. Whilst it is not possible to establish the real birth date of Dinny, it is unlikely he was 80 years old in the video. His earliest stated birth date on record is circa 1922, which is unlikely at best and the latest stated birth date is mid 1940's. If we take the earlier date as accurate, (Which is very unlikely), he was less than six years old at the time of the shootings near Coniston. In reality all evidence suggests he was born about 1938 some years after the shootings. Either way, do have accurate recollections of events that happened before you were six years old and be able to tell them exactly when you become over 70 years old. Unlikely! Obviously some very horrible things happened in those months in that area and it is all wrong. But we don't know what the actual circumstances were. It is easy but wrong to judge anyone from a great distance and across time without facts. Some aboriginal oral history says Bullfrog and his woman left the area and lived together for a very long time. Other written history from around the enquiry time states Bullfog's woman and another aboriginal woman were shot and killed running away. Some oral history even say Bullfrog's woman was involved in the killing of the white murdered dingo trapper that triggered the events. Personally I do judge Murray. It seems clear to me he did some agregious things. But he is not representative of a population and any punishment should be directed to him personally if that is correct.

Also it is a fact, few people actually remember with clarity anything that happened before 5 years old and memories before 6 years are sketchy at best. It might be your "feeling" but that is hardly fact.
Vote YES!!! Captain Cook's description of Australia as "Terra Nullius" was a complete lie and completely untie. Terra Nullius means "the land is uninhabited"- when clearly it was not.. he saw and interacted with native people, so why he lied is a mystery... It's very important that native people are acknowledged in our Constitution at last.
