If you really like coffee and/or the ritual of having coffee in the morning, just switch to a really good organic decaf. A lot of the jitteriness people experience isn't just the caffeine, it's because coffee is THE most heavily sprayed (insecticide) plant on the planet. Organic coffee isn't. If you're not super-sensitive to caffeine or you only drink one cup a day, you might be able to get away with one cup of organic regular, you may not even need to go decaf.
Hi Alex, please respond to me. I started weight lifting again after some time of suffering from ibs. I still am diagnosed with it but since I have been lifting for a month or 2 I see symptoms getting worse. Is it because of the food or is it the weight lifting?
Dude, I've been with diarrhea for 2 weeks now (which is not very normal). I never had intestinal issues before but now I'm terrified by this. I can barely imagine my life without food and trainig, but I guess there's always a way. Anyway, may be I'm just overthinking.
I cleared my IBS by following FODMAP diet. Reducing stress, caffeine and improving my head. Find foods that set you off and avoid them for a while. Hope this helps
Caffeine is one of the biggest ones , then life stress , food allergies , trauma , hormones etc . But if I’ll be honest the biggest impact on anxiety has been caffeine out of entering else over tried
See where the opposite I got huge legs but can't build muscle well threw my chest and arms too well would need to look like your top half to look normal 😂
CICO is not straightforward in humans. Look up adaptive thermogenesis. If you restrict calories for long enough your BMR gets lowered a few hundred calories
@@alexsparkes-projectsparkes3390 yeah lol. I only know too well. Ever Heard of durianrider? I used to think the guy was a clown but it turns out he was right all along.
My god, I have not diagnosed It yet, but I started having bloating and digestive problems, like the ones from IBS, immediately after the end of a drastic calorie cut I did (I kind did go overboard though). It was stupid, I limited a lot of food types on the cut and I regret It so much. Do you think that If I haven't done It the sympstons would not appear? That question applies to both of our cases. My abs still don't look the same and I don't know If they will, did you manage to get the same physique you had before?
So I followed a similar thing to cause my issues. Extreme diet for a bodybuilding show & then tried to eat normally and stomach was having none of it. I felt my mid section expanded from the bloating and really changed look. I followed a low FODMAP diet to re introduce foods. Likewise, to get my mid section back; I performed stomach vacuum’s. Look them up on RU-vid and do they before bed. They will help regain that mid section control
IBS is also more prevalent among people with ADHD and people with fibromyalgia (many of whom also have ADHD). I have ADHD and developed IBS somewhere in my 30s, I was bulking last in my late 20s (wish I’d never done it). IBS might also be related to a change in your gut microbiome. There’s still a lot of unknowns. A low FODMAP diet brings relief though.
I am also suffering from ibs-d from so long. Before 3years ago I was bulking with roids but after 2020 I just got my ibs-d. I wish I could start again bodybuilding and gain my weight:(
Very nice. Kept me interested till last minute with humour adequately mixed with great information. Caffeine for me certainly has been something which has impeded my focus perhaps due to increased anxiety and makes me engage more in distractions.
Seems like oats are a trigger food for me… and egg whites. Super weird. Also do you know if you lose all the nutrients from the food when you have diarrhea? Curious about the possibility of losing macronutrients or micronutrients or both
From the research I’ve done we shouldn’t loose everything. But we obviously will lose some. I would just avoid those trigger foods for now then trial them again in a long period of time
I strongly relate to everything you said about IBS with regard to bulking and going on holiday. It really sucks and the most annoying thing is my friends telling me to "eat more" ... like dude if it were that easy I would already be weighing 150kg.
caffeine also has a quarter life of around 12 hours. so if u have 200mgs at 12 am. when u go to sleep at 12pm u still got 50mgs in ya. so literally any amount of caffeine during the day is gonna wreck deep sleep. :s
