One of the most phenomenal military leaders since Custer daid to stting Bull, "Let's talk about this.". Or since Alexander said to a Greek King, "I'm going to China". 😊
Not a lot of pitching in this one. Loved the '69 replay. Don't know as many players from this one. Might have to refrain from watching too many of these as it really becomes time consuming, even with watching at 1.5 speed!
Jeff please you don’t have to justify taking a phone call. If your viewers don’t understand the difference between real life and replay baseball we’ve got a problem. Glad to hear things are getting better. You got this 💪 God bless ❤️
Thanks for the reply. I’m more in line with you and SportsmanZ but I appreciate IDJs thoughts for sure. The one thing I agreed with him the most on was the card quality. While, like you, I don’t care if I get stains or spills on them (you said it shows character and I love that! I like to be able to tell that I’ve used them), I do want them to start with good quality. I used to not care about quality of components until I tried other games. To me that’s the only real thing that other games beat Strat in. And that matters more than I ever imagined it would’ve. But not a deal breaker for sure. The only other somewhat big issues I have is that it doesn’t card every player (although I care less about that now that I’m done with as played replays) and that I have to break the cards apart and sort them.
That is totally okay Jeffrey. I really enjoy the games and the conversations, but totally understand. I wish you love and peace in dealing with whatever hardships life as thrown into your path.
The "outfield in" rule can be deployed only in one instance: when there is a runner third and less than two outs, and if that runner represents the game-ending run. So, the rule can only come into play in the bottom of the ninth or in the bottom of an extra inning. Doesn't happen much, but it's definitely a thing in real-world baseball....the manager really has nothing to lose by doing it and it can cut down a potential game-ending run.
