UPDATED NEWS: After 13 years, Richey Edwards has now been *legally* declared as "presumed dead". This is NOT to say that Richey is dead, because if Richey had been claimed as "legally dead", that would mean his body would have been found, but Richey still has not been found.
So, Richey's family chose to legally declare him as presumed dead, and are coming to terms that they feel is a situation that has resolved itself.
But dead or not, Richey will always remian in our hearts and souls!
WE LOVE YOU RICHEY! 4EVER 4REAL!!
My channel is for Manics/Richey James Edwards fans. A channel for people who love & respect Richey and the Manics.
Although I do not always get the e-mail alerts when I get your comments, and sometimes when I do, the comments do not appear. Sorry about that, but I do my best though, so thanks for your understanding.
I cant help but think he would have grown out (not that you can 'snap out' of depression mind you) of his melancholy and found happiness in life's other joys, perhaps he did and perhaps he is!
Yeah she's some short hair cutted woman who has done fuck all, where as the Manics are soon to release their 12th studio album, have played to 65,000 people at the millenium eve and have played to Castro!!! She wasn't to know of Rcihies demons, she's just going off the reported lyric content but jesus, how much of a mug must she feel now!! No wonder she had to go on I'm a celeb get me out of here, she was one of the most unknown as well. Ha ha ha. Richie is laughing at you.
This is ridiculous. First of all I resent her calling them "popstars" and it's clear Richey does too. They're so much more than a bunch of silly popstars. Secondly, surely in an interview you're supposed to let the person talk? Nicky was just about to talk about how they use the feelings of isolation and depression as inspiration for their music and she cut him off just to pester Richey with a stupid puppet!
Don't do an interview with a band you know nothing about and pretty much admit that to their face, it's just insulting no matter who you're interviewing, it's rude. Bet she felt like such a fucking twat after Richie went missing. It just reminds me of how you feel inside when you deal with the idiots of everyday life.
he's genius. "some people listen to our records over and over, just like we used to. as long as those people don't go away we're happy to stay as a band" xo
@j7609 maybe your therapist meant it would be a waste of beauty if someone as beautiful as you commited suicide...still...i don´t think what your therapist said is ok because it suggests that less beautiful people are worth less....as if it was less tragic if an not-so-good-looking person commited suicide. the thing is, that people can see a broken leg, ppl see when you´re in a wheelchair....but ppl can´t see if something inside you is wrong... well... i whish you all the best :)
Unlike someone in the vein Pete Doherty, Richey was actually willing to engage with the interviewer, That fucking insensitive bitch. It's clear from his facial expression that the questions directed at him were emotionally crippling to say the least. "What do you really hate about your life the most?". What sort of fucking vague, extremely personal question is that? You don't ask people such questions unless you ask them in a serious, appropriate, respectful manner. Bitch!
Remember the curb your enthusiasm episode where some woman walks by Larry David and says 'smile!' and he kinda pauses, confused, the yells 'you know what? Screw you!' That's how this makes me feel.
2:56 根性焼き こんじょうやき konjouyaki means 'test of courage by burning skin with cigarette' according to my dictionary. Konjou means will-power, guts, courage, temper, nature or spirit. Yaki is used at the end of food names like Teriyaki. So there you go.
It's one of the worst things I've seen but it's not all her fault. To be fair to her it's not her fault she came across someone in that state and I bet other people must have treated him the same way too - how many normal Richey Edwards interviews are there? I don't blame him but when you're as talented and lucky as him you might not be happy but suicide becomes less and less a 'neutral' moral thing to do. I hope he just tried to make it look like he jumped because it must have hurt like hell.
mmm great interview style - bellitling them throughout. This is all about Shona and HER obsession with miserableness and what SHE thinks they are about. Shona obviously has hang-ups about her friend and is trying to prove something. The guys are giving her plenty despite being tipsy, but she doesn't shut up for long enough. 'Your music has been described as being about....' then she lists THEIR lyrics from 'LIttle Baby Nothing'! Clueless twit.
Have to say it's Shona not the guys who focuses in on 'miserableness' here. 'What do you hate about your life the most'. When they answer honestly she castigates them for being miserable - she is belittling them and telling them they are idiots. When she shuts up for a second they both come out with great lines but this interview is really about her and her attitude to what she thinks they are about. 'Your music has been descibed as..' then she lists some of THEIR lyrics! Clueless twit.
They are so adorable together...just makes me smile despite this rude interviewer....Richey u had left your mark on the music world and we thank u for that!!
