I’m in a F2P casual guild, They are so Fun 2 Play with 🥳some people are very casual and have their life balance correct, they are lucky enough to be Free 2 Purchase. The overall best thing is players are Free 2 Pursue their own goals without any pressure 🥳
I can't believe they make you not only have the right element which is fine, but also strictly magic or physical on top of the right elements, and all the new content is like this. Imagine a new player trying to play through this now... there is no way this game can grow, digging its grave as fast as it can while trying to accumulate as much money from suckers in this final year of the game before it's on life support... think it's time to uninstall as a launch player at this point. New guild system is stupid tedious too, lmao @ making us craft 5 worthless materia daily on top of the rest of the shit.
man why are they so greedy with free costumes... or at least rerun the old free costumes during their corresponding events. i was hoping to gets zacks swimtrunks. or a new free costume from the first summer part or something... heres to hoping this event goes well. also its pretty scummy they literally reran the limit break banners not even 4 months later. so like... whats the point of them being limited if they are just going to rerun them so soon. this is all pretty shady tactics. at this rate i expect LB banners to be on a shorter cycle than expected.
@@yuuichi949 Not for the stories sake. It's basically just a very comprised recap of FF7s story. As a gatcha game you on the side, yes. But be aware that it has a very FOMO centered monitization model. (Basically gambling) If that isn't much of an issue for you, then yeah it's a decent game to have fun with.

Agree. Guilds are a nice addition on a daily basis but those guild bonuses are amazing. I know how you feel. My Earth doesn't exist, so I'm crying but I'm looking forward to the future as well
I'm really feeling they are throwing out a few too many banners at the moment. It's cool at times but I've done one banner on monster hunter (30k crystals), skipped the sephiroth and Glenn water stuff, skipped all the first part of summers banners despite wanting them a lot, did roll for Vincent (just 30k again) but skipped the half anniversary limit break draws this time as I had everything I wanted. Even still, I feel like I'm maybe able to do just one more draw before anniversary and still have a decent amount of crystals for it. Would be nice if there was more cyrstals to be had in the wild or if anniversary will give us a nice 30k crystals to work with but I'm worried they won't be so generous. August going to be hard as hell to avoid rolling crystals I bet. They've already thrown all the limit break weapons we've seen so far at us and if Sailor Barrett comes out and is good (or the Aerith weapon is sick) then that's gonna be hard to avoid.
100% agree. I also feel overwhelmed with this amount of banners all the time. Until May we used to have around 3 banners per month and now we're getting a banner every week, so 4-5 banner per month, but as you said we're getting same amount of crystals we used to get (around 25k per month). It's much harder to save up crystals now, or have any left if we'd be pulling on banners just for the outfits. It's scary as it's now almost twice as many banners to choose to pull or skip. And congrats on your pulls by the way

Hey, Rau! Great to see you, mate Yeah, me being a submaster was last thing I expected but now just trying to help The novel is "On the way to a smile: Final Fantasy VII". It's an older novel back from 2005 when Advent Children was coming out. There are few chapters about other characters (and a great part with Lifestream:Black and White) but Episode: Shinra is all about Rufus and it's a great read, he has some amazing moments there. Yeah, I was very confused they didn't finish the event story but now it makes sense. Bit weird they split the story because if someone didn't watch then, they'll miss out but nice that it's something they planned and didn't just forget.
Hard for me to make a guide as I don't have Earth at all, so I'm just using whatever else I have strongest and don't do much dmg at all. I can write suggestion here if you want. Barret or Matt as healer and either use magic Earth, or if you don't have it, just whatever's the strongest (I'm using non-elemental Sephiroth and FireZack) and try your best. This ranking is mostly about whole guild coordinating and working together though.
Oh, quiet? I've seen VRT posted a video for his top score and he's a kraken and using the best available setup in the game and SmellyOctopus did a video about guild battles? I didn't check anything else as I've been very busy this weekend. Yeah. I'm in F2p academy. There really isn't any secret strategy to it, or if there is then I'm not aware of it. Everyone is just using what they have best and I'm sure all top10 guilds are using the same strat - just coordinating people as good as they can to maximize efficiency. I've spent majority of the weekend doing that myself. I didn't think about doing any videos on it simply because I quite literally have nothing for this battle, but sure, I can do a video to cover the event.
They really just gave the newest character one of the more difficult summon battles, with a character I'm just guessing here probably not a lot of players use. Aerith though is perfectly fine. Edit:Beat the tower because of this, thank you.
Yeah, I was surprised they chose Lucia out of all characters, possibly the most underused character in the game, for this battle together with Vincent. Aerith was imo the saving grace as she is a great healer (and only healer out of those 3). But Lucia? Other than artificially trying to make this battle more difficult, I can't see a reason for forcing us to use Lucia. And congrats! Happy to hear you found the guide helpfu.
I was also confused and thought they forgot to finish it, but it seems like they've split the story into 2 seasonal events and the story will continue in this upcoming one. Kinda weird but I'm glad they didn't screw up.

Hey, Kyle. Thank you so much for your kind words. If I may ask, which coop do you have difficulty finding people for? If you mean normal coop with weekly bosses, unfortunately most people just do first clear (if we get any new stages) immediately when they appear, so Thursday/Friday and it's very soon to being dead. I can recommend joining any of EC discords for that and just say you want to do some coop there. People coop all the time, but mostly in private groups. As for event coop, at least in my experience, it's easy to find random matches 24/7 and I hope you have a similar experience.
thanks for the guide. I ended up doing 50 tries with a full magic team and couldnt pull it off, but then I switched it up and used an ice sephi, your barrett but just ob2 laser and a full PATK fire cloud. Didnt think it would work but managed to finish it first try.
Shout out to @endlessness. Helped me to finish the coop crash 2 last night. Superb experience to watch how the strategy was built live, and even a more delightful experience to see how respectful and courteous @endlessness was on the forum. Someone to look up to.
Im struggling killing those bombs. I am trying AOE fire with Seph and Zack. It can work, but we have save those limit break/summons. Nanaki is the support, but Barret is worth considering for the matk buff. I had chaos fire double summon on Red. Unfortunately, that alone cannot wipeout some bombs, but he is support. Best not to use any summons early, as shown in vid
Sorry I'm replying so late, busy week. If you have Half-Anniversary Fire sword for Zack, you could try using it instead for the bombs. In this crash I found Barret's matk buff (and pdef buff) amazing for boosting dps and having enough dmg.

I'm very happy to hear that! I really hope EC will show Cait Sith some more love because it's just very sad he had his launch banner and nothing ever since.
I can suggest maybe try to level up Vincent a bit and use his second limit break with debuffs. Leveing up and unlocking the node tree often can make a character much more powerful.
Hm. Weird. I tested Vincent with his long 4000speed LB vs Shiva 1840speed and I needed only about few more atb uses after Shiva was ready. Or Vincent had his lb ready when Megaflare was at around 60%. That's with 5*/ob1 weapons that charge 2% and I've seen potency of lb charging increases at ob6+ or Vincent's LB earth weapon has 4-5%, so it'll be significantly faster too.

A broken limit that you will never use for now don’t worry 😂 and it’s ok for new char to be broken so maybe new players can play and enjoy the game without having to wait months and months. If you Didn’t notice there are more quitting players than the ones who are joining
Vincent is now most used character because of guild ranking event. I didn't notice more quitting players to be honest. People come and go in every game but I haven't noticed more people leaving EC.
To be fair every character has their moment in the sun for 2 seconds. When I got Yuffies hawkeye I thought it'd be the best earth weapon for a while and then this pops round not long after. Same happens with a lot of stuff so I'm sure Cloud and Sephiroth will get some amazing stuff down the line too (especially if anniversary hits us at new heights). I've rolled for Vincent mainly for the earth damage stuff but his next best sets are his wind shotgun and phys weapons but we have a lot of competition in the phys department and without a wind arcanum he's mainly souped up on the limit break and earth damage only. After this guild earth event and anniversary we'll have to see where the dust settles. He's got potential but building from scratch he's not so wildly better than others that he's absolutely necessary (his limit breaks do stand out as interesting but future limits breaks could then even this out more and they'd be free).
Ah, I mostly meant I'm jealous of Vincent's LBs being so good and him charging them so much faster because I find most other new lbs quite underwhelming, especially Cloud and Seph's. And I'm afraid it may take a while before we see any new limit breaks as we're currently still at lvl3 for the new ones. But as for the weapons, most characters have very nice set of weapons and it's expanding. And since it's a gacha, there will always be something bit better and more powerful in the future for another character. Yeah, we'll see how Vincent will expand in the future but his launch weapons and LB Earth arcanum are already more than amazing.
Could be. Or Vincent can be good for short battles where you just want to kill enemy quickly or do most dmg. But other than that, in long battles can be risky. Don't always have enough ATB to single cura everyone.
Not a fan of vincents kit and character hp requirments. I will stick to my main stays cloud and tifa and any other character can slot in when required.
Completely understand. I like few of Vincent's weapons like Kuja but Sephiroth and other characters can do that too. Vincent seems like a very specific character, so I mostly find his weapons can be great as subweapons but that's it. He has cool animations though, especially if you use a magic materia with him.
I'm anticipating some kind of power creep character enhancement for the one year anniversary, like awakening or something from other games. Vincent has a cohesive kit and identity between his LBs and weapons that causes him to be really good at what he does. Most other characters do not have such cohesiveness, with things like water Tifa or wind Sephiroth being an outlier, not the norm. Here's hoping other characters get some love in the form of additional effects added to their LBs that help give them some boosts.
Yeah. It feels very suspicious they're hitting us with amazing banners every week to make everyone empty their crystals. As if they're planning to hit us with something big during 1 year anniversary. Curious what new feature they'll add though. Maybe accessories? Or too soon. And yeah. Sephiroth has physical wind&water now but still feels very weird because he has so many amazing magic weapons. Tifa is similar but her having 2 mag water weapons and thunder/fire now, makes more sense for her. She has 3 magic arcanums, more than phys. But Tifa getting at least one banner every month is scary. I am jealous of Vincent's LBs being so good because all other character LBs now feel so underwhelming, especially with how fast he can get lbs ready to use. I wish we could get new LBs for other characters soon, but since we're stuck at lvl3 of current limit breaks and need to level it up at least to lvl5 or lvl10 even before we get something new? Feels like it'll be a while before we can get a new LB for all characters. At this point anything new/additional would be great.
You both are correct. I forgot to mention that. Same 2ATB as Sephiroth's Nameless but unlike that weapon Vincent's T03 is actually really good and useful.
I pulled 15x, 15 weapons, OB6, 3 pages. I personally believe LB weapons will return eventually. We just got to wait. Pulling really hurts my crystals for the anniversary, but the decision has been made. I really like these limit break banners. We are saving diamonds for these types of banners, arent we? Well, some of us are. I hope there will be lots of diamond drops to come. If it wasn't an LB banner, i would have skipped....they got me😂
Yeah, I think there is a chance of those LB weapons to reappear during Anniversary since it's a big and limited celebration. And congrats! Ob6 is a great spot with that powerful c ability. I don't blame you, Vincent is tempting and it's a great banner.
I expect the devs to bring back the Limit Break weapons from at the 1 Year Anniversary event. I highly doubt tho that they will be wishlistable on the banners for the new weapons, but rather get their own banner. It would also make sense here that they released this weapon since White Dog is the 5th LB weapon and the banner wishlist has 5 slots :^)

Useless banner for a char made to use limit. limited banner near anniversary such a predatory and greedy af plus not even wallpaper. Their greediness and laziness and brainless is something I have never seen, personally I stopped to spend money here. Also for the lb weap wishlist I’ve seen that lots of native us en speaker understood that those weapon could have been wishlistsble in other lb banners so this is just a big bs.
People wish it was wishlistable, but the game never said such thing. LB weapon may return in future Limit Break banner....that is it. Most likely it will be feature, or selectable in the stamp card, when they return. Wishlisting is whishful thinking
Agree. They never explicitly said these weapons are guaranteed to be wishlistable in every future LB banner. They merely left themselves an option to bring them back in the future, but not a guarantee. Also agree, if they return, I also think they can reappear as featured banner weapons again rather than wishlist. Would be cool if we could wishlist, but they are limited edition, so they wouldn't want them to be easily obtainable.

Agree. I like the pants on this costume but tbh the outfit looks like 95% banner outfits - random and not something the characters would wear in FF7 world.
Didn't expected a limit break banner. 😑 Pulled for the costume and got only one weapon copy. 😢 Guilds need more missions... Also, while lvling Vincent, a crystal cactuar spawned. Deops 36~ mythrils.
I hope you had some nice stamp luck though. Agree about missions. I expected Weekly Missions too at least, not just few guild dailies and done. Congrats on cactuar! I still haven't seen any myself.

I can't call it a scam because they never said we'll be able to wishlist any of LB weapons though. They only said those weapons may be added to another LB banner, which is what they did. Us being able to wishlist those weapons was wishful thinking, which unfortunately didn't happen.
I didn´t exactly have the same team, but copied your idea and I managed to pull it off. Didn´t think 2 AoE Fire users would be able to beat this boss, but you proved me otherwise. And you even managed to do it mostly with free weapons, so many F2P players can take this video as reference. Thanks a lot!
But still not enough. They both deserve more love because since launch until now they have only 2 banner outfits (Nanaki 3 but one is Rebirth crossover) and just rarely get banners. Barret has a very good support moveset too. Microlaser perfect for magic team, then assault canon is still great, phys Kuja for atk debuffs (ELectrocanon), some debuffing weapons make for a very good moveset and now 2 element debuffs and diamond breaker all in one.
