Svitzer has provided safety and support at sea since 1833. With more than 4,000 employees, a fleet of more than 400 vessels and operations worldwide, we are the global market leader in towage and marine related services.
This concept has been around for years, with the RAVE and CRT tugs with Voith propellers VSP. Also with the disastrous EDDY Tug with Azi's. This is proof that Svitzer really does not like Voith and will never have another VSP tug in there fleets. The guys in HDH have no idea...
I single-handedly refloated my 5 tonne boat from well above the high tide line on a beach. I used a small bottle Jack, some scrap wood, a length of metal pipe and 5 x 6 ft x 3 inch PVC pipes.
