Yes you can! In fact one of the migration streams named as AIPP requires us to find a job in any Atlantic province for us to migrate. Could you please confirm if I can avail subsidy for childcare while I am on student visa and my spouse on open work permit who will be either working or on job hunt (90 days Grace period) ? Hi Anu, Yes, you need to complete 18 months in Canada to receive monthly Child Care Benefit. You will be eligible to receive child care subsidy if on student visa. But be aware about the waiting period to complete subsidy processes.
