Have to admit, I’m pretty disappointed in the video quality, but I’m assuming it’s user error. If anyone has advice as to how to stop the wobbly picture, strange blurs and focus searching I’d appreciate it! I did try to hold the camera as stable as possible. I don’t think I was jarring the camera.

Thank you. I love the capabilities of the motion controller 2. I can feel safe getting into much tighter areas, but the downside is shakiness. I have to work on that.
I have a mini 3 pro. The gimbal is making a whining noise as soon as it connects with the transmitter, and does not stop until I power it off. If you tilt the aircraft completely vertically up or down, the noise stops, and if you gently lift upwards on the bottom of the gimbal, it also stops. Please help me :(
I am having same exact problem. I know this doesn’t really help but you are not alone. Mine started after I bought the new larger capacity battery. And now it still hums with the original battery and gives me imu error messages. Calibration does not fix it but sometimes shaking the drone does.
I have similar issues with lower frame rates. Increase you fps and fly a bit higher. Someone else mentioned ND filters, calibration and check out other "shuttering videos" on youtube.
Thank you for the reply but This is not a transmission problem so raising it higher wouldn’t make a difference. I also do not believe the white flashes are external light reflections since it was flying away from the sun. I really do t know what the white flashes are from, but for the most part I don’t think this is a digital issue. It looks to me like a physical issue where the lens/gimbal itself is bouncing. But it’s hard to be sure.
That’s a camera issue too. I have gone thru hell with 2 dji mini 3 in a row if you can believe it, this month. I gave up on dji. How the fuck do you have two brand new drones .. with gimbal, and camera malfunctioning out of the box… one drone could not achieve focus.. it’s was a blurry mess where i could not even see anything.. could not fly. The other .. the gimbal just kept snapping kind of like this .. but In different ways .. not even one month for both drones.. actually all in the first day. I filed for a return.. they tried really hard to give me a third drone .. but I was done with them. Fuck them and their piece of shit drone. I might upload the videos.. so everyone can see the utter garbage dji has done with this drone. I never even heard of something like this happening with their mavic or other quality drones. Ever since they made these under 250g drones .. but added all this pro stuff..it made it more complex .. it has gone to shit. Hell even the dji spark is a beast .. you can drop that thing and it would not fuck anything up. These new drones.. are a joke. I’m either going to save up for a mavic 3 or just give AUTEL a try. And if those give me problems .. then fuck drones. I really don’t like how the gimbal and camera have no protection at all.. on any drones. I think 3 pro is prop the worst .. it’s so out there.. there’s nothing that can protect it.. the top part of the drone was carved around the camera so that the camera can go up 60 degrees. Well geniuses .. now there’s 0 protection .. at least with the other ones the top of the drone is above the camera .. so if the drone fell on its back it would hit the body .. but now .. gimbal and camera is fucked. I might. Was around with blender and a 3D printer to make some kind of protection. And maybe incorporate a clear plastic case around the camera so that it has some protection. I’m ok with creating a 3D model .. all I need is a 3D printer. Because these dumb fucks can’t design safety .. only looks
@@Instant_Nerf I did a gimbal calibration and it seemed to work, but I’ll never really know until I fly more. Yes it can be frustrating. Often though the fox is waiting for a firmware update. They usually do a pretty good job addressing found issues with updates relatively quickly, but it is frustrating when these things happen. I’m actually starting to wonder if I got some sort of obstruction that flew into the gimbal that was dislodged when I pointed up. Who knows. For now it seems ok but I don’t like wondering if it will happen again. I’ve had relatively good success with DJI. I’ve had software issues they were resolved. I’m Starwood you probably won’t be happy with Autel given the complaints I’ve seen with them too. I was all ready to replace my M2P worn the M3P, until I saw the price. I just couldn’t justify paying that much for what is just a hobby for me. I believe the Mini 3 Pro is really a good happy medium for me for Portability, price, functionality and camera quality. I’m going to be patient and hope this gets worked out without having to replace it. Crossing fingers.
I haven’t used filters but did do a calibration. Hasn’t accorded again. Hoping it won’t. Seemed strange though that it started with the while light in the bottom corner, then got progressively worse gimbal bouncing. Doesn’t seem like a calibration issue but maybe.
Thank you kindly. I’m working on smooth flying, turns and gimbal transitions. Loved too how the hill climb resulted in the sunset at the top. I thought the music fit perfectly too!
And much of the wild fly arounds were due to me working on learning the beacon. If I had simply left it on a setting it would have been much more cinematic...
I’m also getting some weird results. Check this... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fmgIQYxnUns.html Is it the same problem? Different symptom? See the frame change vertically from top to bottom approx every second? But not the whole time.
FYI, I did a compass recalibration, IMU recalibration and a gimbal recalibration. Flew it today and don’t seem to have the issue. About the same temperature. Only thing I haven’t been able to confirm is the difference between the wind speeds and I couldn’t fly quite as high this time but the picture looks much better. Though I still have the rolling screen at the bottom... Z
I exchanged for a different one. Doesn't seem as bad but still there. Do you think multiple wireless Wi-Fi security cameras near the area would impact it?
Of course! If you havn’t tried rhen go to a more outdoor site. Any detector thats near a home especially around radio antennas, wifi eeven your phone if its too close it’ll pick it up.
@@mrkiks32 thanks for the advice actually I had a number of mesh WiFi security cameras in the area. If WiFi affects it what could have been it too. The power lines are pretty far away. Will try to shut down WiFi. Was hoping to search around the house. It was built in the 1800’s and hoping to find more artifacts. Will think lore about potential WiFi
@@Zandian wow thats so cool that your house was built so long ago! Definitely theres gotta be some old coins and relics lying around. Just try to turn off wifi signals, leave your phone at home or with airplane mode on and keep the sens low, of course as high as it can go without the chatter. To tell you the truth I mostly go hunting on the outdoors, woods and on the beach, far out places and most of the time I have the Nox’s sens between 20-22 believe me I find stuff pretty deep. I found a 1/4 silver real coin near 10” deep. Of course it gave a faint but repeatable signal and there it was! I have found many 1/2 reals at 10” and it just sounds great with solid numbers!
@@mrkiks32 yeah, I found a cool coin with my Garret AT Pro but there was so much chatter I thought I’d buy this one to minimize noise. Love it but was disappointed I still had noise. Will work to minimize the RF interference. Thanks!
@@mrkiks32 google photos pics of the coin I found with the AT Pro. Not sure what the hole was for or why it’s inscribed with another date... photos.app.goo.gl/EZrZpM1yK6qqkdns9 photos.app.goo.gl/84v9N7WtzQTH7fBu5
I tried a number of things. I tried noise cancellation, ground balancing in numerous areas, etc. it did the same even right after a hard reset. I could hold it up in the air, turned sensitivity to 10 and still chirping like this. Even did so on every single frequency as well as multi. I returned it to the store and should be receiving the replacement today. If I still have problems I may have some sort of scary EMF going on around my house that I need to check out! (Or I may find out I simply don’t know what the hell im doing) :-)
Nick. C thanks I’ll give it a shot. It wasn’t doing it yesterday. Just started acting like this today. Tried new ground balance, noise cancellation. Doesn’t get better until sensitivity is about 11 which seems way low, don’t you think? Will put the phone on airplane mode too but had my phone with me yesterday and didn’t do it.
Drone off thank you much. My freehand flying still needs a lot of work to smooth things out but it’s getting better. Also don’t have much time or horsepower with my computer to do any serious editing so I usually just dump the raw file here. RU-vid’s transcoding messes it up quite a bit. The original is really nice. Wry impressed with the M2P camera! Plus I was Facebook streaming it when I flew this. I think I should have cut out that distraction. It would likely have led to a smoother shot-particularly at the end ;-)
yes I know, the compression is always huge!!! that's really annoying! Are you happy with the sharpness while seeing the original footage? Photos and video!?
TheEyeof TheBird I used the Hasselblad color setting. Yes, very sharp and color rich without being too rich-quite accurate colors I think. One may actually think it is too sharp. Certainly a big improvement over my Phantom 4, Mavic 1 and Air. I say it may be too sharp for some but once I really looked at it that “sharpness” was actually detail that I never was able to see with my past drones. For example in panning into the woods with one of these shots you can see individual trees and limbs. Mavic 1 I could never get sharp enough, even after the point to focus firmware update. Always soft and jumping when panning. Air had much better ability to handle movement, probably due to the 100Mbps. But the Air has some sort of bending of the picture (I posted a video of it) in the top center when panning side to side. Air was ok, just too hard to get nice fluid movements and panning, both bird and gimbel. Of course I know much of the Air and Mavic 1 issues can be corrected in post but I just don’t have the time or horsepower in my computer to be that patient. It’s nice to have pretty decent footage with mostly stock settings.
SafariLifestyles not yet. On MavicPilots.com others are seeing it. People seem to think it can be fixed by software so hoping it will be resolved in an upcoming release.
N'th DEGREE DRONE yeah I prefer to cut the audio and insert music. I usually don't have enough interesting stuff to say. I just uploaded straight from the file. Didn't have time to edit
The guy in the boat deserved some Benny Hill music! That was comedy... Perhaps sitting towards THE BACK of the boat would help??? LOL Fun video with LOTS of tree branch hazards - good job! :)
