Hey, this channel is all about learning to code. I work as a full time full stack web developer in London and really enjoy writing code with React.js. My main areas of expertise are javascript, React.js and Golang. Most of the videos on my channel are focused around React.js and range from the basics of react, to making a more advanced components. If you're looking to learn more about React.js then I'm sure you will find useful content on this channel.
18:56 - If you can't drag the items, and getting the error: "Unable to find draggable with id:" - be sure to disable Strict Mode by going to index.js and deleting <React.StrictMode>
Wouldn't it make more sense to make our columns an array of objects instead of objects of objects? const [state, setState] = useState([ { title: "Todo", items: [item, item2] }, "{ title: "In Progress", items: [] }, { title: "Completed", items: [] } ]) Btw, great content! You explained much better than other videos on youtube.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! but why by default it is null the chart how can i display some data by default and then update it by the button I'm a beginner thank you
Thanks man, I forked your repository and retroffitted it for my use. I'm going to teach other coders this friday at London Amazon Office on serverless deployments and used your base code to do the front end in an AWS S3 bucket. I'm going to refer you and hope that drives you some views and activity! Well done.
Hi! This tutorial helped me very very much! Just wanted to ask you... How did you do to have each one of the columns of a different color like you showed at the beginning of the video?? Thank you!
I've watched many of the videos on react dnd, and yours had the best explanation of what's going on. Starting from scratch you explained not only the hows, but the whys. Great job.
Thanks for the video. Question though: does it work on React 18? I use exactly the same codes as yours, all the UI displays are working fine, but the drag and drop function doesn't work! Are there any changes we need make for the current version of React? Cheers. EDIT: I removed the "<React.StrictMode>" in index.js and it works perfectly now. :)
hi ! thanks for amazing explanation , can you tell how i push the pokemon to array and display them because i want to display the results history ! thanks !
Hi! It looks like this tutorial does not work for modern redux+thunk+typescript. I get a next error in the end of the video. I'm newbe and I didn't find some solution for this error in the Internet. Do you know how to fix it? ERROR in src/App.tsx:12:39 TS2345: Argument of type '(dispatch: Dispatch<PokemonDispatchTypes>) => Promise<void>' is not assignable to parameter of type 'AnyAction'. 10 | const pokemonState = useSelector((state: RootStore) => state.pokemon); 11 | const handleChange = (event: React.ChangeEvent<HTMLInputElement>) => setPokemonName(event.target.value); > 12 | const handleSubmit = () => dispatch(GetPokemon(pokemonName)); | ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 13 | 14 | console.log("pokemon state:", pokemonState); 15 | return ( I had downloaded the project from the GIT. But it does not work too. C:/Work/Projects/typescript-with-redux-master/node_modules/redux-thunk/es/index.d.ts TypeScript error in C:/Work/Projects/typescript-with-redux-master/node_modules/redux-thunk/es/index.d.ts(1,13): '=' expected. @Marcin Bugaj Hi! Nope. All solutions that I found, don't work. In the end, I decided to use the redux toolkit. It works normally with typescript because it was created on the typescript.
