They should make this game co-op multiplayer. 4 players play for one faction. One player plays the commander, and assigns each player certain assets. The chaos in communication would be so fun.
Don't worry lads, Ghost in the Shell teaches us that not even 5 world wars can destroy the plant and Japans has solved radioactivity and cancer with magic serum. The problem will be the brain hackers and shiet.
2030 : Russia, China and the United States are fighting for the title of hegemony over the Earth; 2040 : African tribes are the most technologically advanced on earth
The fact Australia is just watching the world destroy and murder itself, they're just in the background, sipping tea, while everyone else in the show, is fighting over something, something stupid. Amazing. ;)
"By the time Skynet became self-aware, it had spread into millions of computer servers across the planet. Ordinary computers in office buildings, dorm-rooms, everywhere. It was software. In cyber-space. There was no system core. It could not be shut-down. The attack began t 6:18PM. Just as he said it would. Judgement Day. The day the human race was nearly destroyed by the weapons built to protect themselves." -John Connor
Well, who against who wouldn't matter anyway, because if so many atomic bombs were detonated, the contamination would make the entire planet uninhabitable in the long term. It doesn't matter where the bombs will be dropped.

You are an astronaut on the International Space station. Houston Mission command just informed you and your crew that 4:35 is happening down below. You see constant flashes on the continents, at this distance merely as bright as a candle. You're up there looking down out of the coupula... screaming your lungs out at those dumbass egoistic apes that just decide to annihilate their entire home planet for ideals and silly revenge... Crying in zero G... Powerless... The rest of the crew in their cabins doing their last calls to their loved ones with the extremely slow connection... hearing the last words of the humans that mattered most to them, before suddenly, the calls cut off, one by one... You realize there's no victory. The people in bunkers down there will at some point have to come creeping out and find nothing but irrigated, barren, dead land... On which no crops will ever grow again. You notice that you will run out of food and water very soon with no space-capable nation left by tonight, to resupply you. As you know humans, you guess that you probably will fight to the death for the last drop of water as soon as that happens... There again. Through the thick layer of water on your eyes, you see another flash.
