I bought sekiro when it first came out, played it for 5 minutes then closed it and only got back to playing it last week. I did that bc I wanna get elden ring to play with my friend but I didn't wanna spend money on it not knowing if i'll enjoy it or not, since I haven't really played any souls game before. I thought of getting back to playing Sekiro since it's considered a souls game to some extent, but maybe not so much Anyway, I'm excited to try more souls games in the future cause Sekiro is so damn fun.
i played dark souls after finishing sekiro on ng+7 and most of the dark soul bosses were so easy, the only thing was the stamina bar but after some fights it gets more easy to control it
any of the souls games you play, is going to throw you off balance with the rest of the other games Dark Souls is just exploiting i frames with rolling, and using certain items and weapons at the right time Bloodborne is kinda of the middle, you can't jump, but dodging is still powerful, and the enemys won't track you down mid attack Sekiro, well, screw dodging, you can parry the fucking wind in this game, and even if you dodge, most bosses will literally follow your movement and attack you on the air if they have to
This is my issue. I just got into dark souls and have beaten Jedi fallen order on grandmaster hitless more times than I can count just by parrying. Trying to party every attack in dark souls isn’t as feasible lmao
the fight with genichiro is the most satisfying fight on sekiro, I go back to play from time to time and repeat this fight until it comes out perfect. I've played it so much that I usually get it perfect on my third try. it doesnt matter how much time pass.
Gotta give it to From Software for creating a game that's so much different from what they're known for, yet you can tell the instant you look at it that it's a From Soft game
