If you drop chop the throttle on a 4 stroke Moki, with a 4 bladed prop that prop turns into a brake of major drag.... Combined with low air speed and a heavy plane .... Thats why it dropped like rock to the grass ..... You need to feed the Moki some fuel and pull it in under power and momentum .. Then chop the throttle once the wheels are on deck . Make it up on the next one ...
So excellent thank you for filming this I know you have many many thousands of hours and dollars in this hobby and I just want to tell you you made my day
I have followed the instructions to the T. I have a brand new saito fg- 57t that I have yet to break in. It does not state whether the gas tank should be in line with carb or above. I have tried it both ways.. The problem I am having is it only runs long enough to burn the fuel that I just choked into the carb. Following the steps in my manual book which is 6 1/2 x 5 inches with the cover saying SAITO twin-cylinder gasoline four-stroke engine.
Wenatchee has one of the finest fields and facilities in the country, but when your plane flying with the hillside in the background, it can be an unexpected challenge. NEVER take your eye's off of it!
