i remember first hearing that buph part when i was still marching last season and decided I needed to learn it so I found a head cam of one of their euphs and learned it with a combo of their fingerings and listening and MAN this video would have been helpful then lol
People wonder why crown doesn’t place as high as blue devils or other corps and it’s because even though they’re doing all this “fancy” brass stuff they’re literally don’t use 3rd valve until the last couple measures lmao
@@scottmcleod8342 every note has its own valve combination, and though some have multiple, there’s no point in using the third valve when the other valve combo that only uses either 1st or 2nd is way easier.
I thinks it’s more because devils does a lot more stuff based on marching and form and when they do complex music they make the form slightly easier just to compensate most devils shows end becoming 2 minute dance breaks im not saying it’s bad but it’s a common theme throughout their shows
