got this set while in japan my skill level isnt at this level yet but i cant wait to build it, whats the white product you used for the body at the start is like a bbody filler for kit cars?
also when you apply the decals what did you brush before hand? is it a glue of some sort? if so how to clean the excess afterwards without damaging anything(sorry for the multiple questions i comment as i see thge video
@@PedroDelgado724No problem, it's decal softner and Mark set, it help for decal installation and used low heat with my heatgun because those decals was not easy to soften. I've also polished the "drops" leaved by decals after it dries before clear coating.
@@northscalemodeler5212 sorry read it upside down its c6 its inbetween the mirror parts first one of these kits i have built in years and its the only bit left over
Ce kit aoshima sont de 19 pouces mais personnellement je les trouves un peu trop grandes, et surtout larges j'ai dû faire pas mal d'ajustement. Peut-etre que 18 po aurait été mieux.
That looks good with those rims. And a great tip that adhesive foil on the brakediscs. Will borrow that for my next build. i got a supra with the Subaru rims, but these are kooking way better.
Nice clean build. And in Blue, that is a good color. Better then that tweety yellow. I did mine in white covered with transparent pearl. Love the 2 piece seats. Easy to give them a 2 tone . Was a good kit to build. And subscribed to your channel. Now looking to the video,s you made before.
Wow awesome work on the DR30. Been wanting this kit for a while and it is great to see it built. What a difference from this and the street version. I thought they would use some of the same parts but looks like nothing is the same. Lol. Love the results.
Turned out a Fantastic job, great work on the BMW😊 1 of my favorite cars, as I own a real BMW M3 E46 replica, cool👊😎 Cheers 🍻🍺KC Cradle Mountain Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺🤝😎👍
Wow! Without primer? And that mirror finish in one coat or am I wrong? But what do you dilute the LP with and what nozzle and pressure do you use? Thank you
Hi! no I don't used primer for this one, only sanded the body finishing with 3000 grit. For the clear I've put 3 coats of lp-9 tamiya, wet coat for finish and tamiya compound. My nozzle is 3 mm and around 20psi.
@@northscalemodeler5212 Ok. Anyway, do you dilute the LPs with Tamiya thinners or something else? Do you use the thinner retarder? And in what percentage?
Thank you!😃 The kit fit very well for the year, generally, if I remember maybe the rear window masking fitment is not very good🤔 But I even really recommend this kit.
