By far, this was the most difficult and painful procedure I've ever had done. Why? Read on. I have bad arthritis up and down my back and in my hips. When they first laid me down on the table I knew I was in trouble. It is rock hard and I was in instant pain. I lasted about an hour before I thought I was going to scream. They were able to get two stents inserted. If you have no tolerance for laying on hard surfaces, I suggest you ask for a way to be put under for the procedure. I won't do it again unless I can be guaranteed that. Even with the so called relaxation meds or whatever they were trying to give me for the pain, it did not work. I had nightmares and panic attacks for a few days afterward.
I a almost 8 years out. I have kidney atrophied, cognitive issues, PTSD, MDD, ADHD, ANXIETY night terrors; if I sleep... terrible insomnia. I am still loosing my hair, top lashes never grew back. When I was delivered to the ER, my kidneys and liver had shut down. I don't remember much.. Except NOONE told me anything. I have been swimming in this hurricane, unassisted. The drs, do not recognize PSS, my disability was denied. . All started from surgery on my shoulder x3 that I never needed. I was a master cosmetologist; no shoulder no hair. I had my gallbladder removed in 2022 because it became infected. I thought it was just really bad menstrual cramps at first, until I was on the floor screaming in agony and my mother said ER asap lol. Very thankful for the people who decide and take this profession to heal normal people everyday like me❤
Back home today. Had mine removed 3 days ago on Monday. Today is Thursday. That 3 day anesthetic is no lie. Felt like that whole top half of me was concrete . Tip, stay in the hospital as long as you can after, it’s your body and only you know how you feel. I’m a sensitive person so I needed the extra day and care with pain meds.
Thank you I can’t see who was my robotic surgery 10 days ago I am perfecting driving and doing lots duty in my home and walking around and I lots ice did health my to release my pain from my midback and front belly and diafragmes areas I could not breath and pain I already I was driving at 6 days of my surgery Now wait to come back to my work one week more .
I went trough angioplasty on tuesday came home on thutrsday. Thank God i got there on time without heart attsck. My doctor was amaszing . i didnt get to see him after. Two stants on right artery. Have to go next month for another in the left. Clostrole blocked my artere. One at 100% every one said to me your fast thinking got you here on time. I said no my God is Good Good. He is always with me. Any way I woke up from my head to belly was wet. Then i started getting like heart burn but got worse. Then my left hand got heavy ans num. Called 911 waited 2 minutes for the operator then wrong paramedic came have to wait for anothe. The paramedic was knoledgeable with what they were doing. Thank him he keep yelling i need to talkto surgent. Finally, he explain everything and took me straight to operation room. Thanks God for educated people and fast thinking. From the beginning. He gave 2 asprin then repeated twice then chess pain was getting worse and he gave 6 mill ( two mill each time until I got in the hospital). God bless all of then. No complication no pain everything finished fast. 🙏🙏🙏
Why did the lady who picked up the the JL3.5 catheter not have gloves on? OK she was not touching the catheter directly but surely every measure should be taken to avoid any contamination.

I just had this done May 5th 2024 by Doctor Joseph Bedway at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach Florida. It’s now 7 days post op and I haven’t had to take any opioid pain medication 👏👏 Wearing my belly band helps a lot and taking the Tylenol muscle relaxers before the pain is intense helps a bunch. I have 5 incisions. That was a surprise to me, I thought I’d only have 3. Whatever you all do, please don’t wait until yours is so big they have to due open surgery. I got mine done early. Also, my doctor doesn’t use the synthetic mesh, he uses Bovine (cow) material that absorbs into the body. Ask your doctor about that. Seems there can be more post op complications from the body rejecting the synthetic. Highly recommend this procedure.
We don't need a fucking diagram and medical course in the disease and function of the eyes. And we don't even need to know that blacks are not as affected by it as whites are. Get to the details about exactly what early symptoms look like and the treatments.
I'm a veteran in central Iowa who is presently suffering from non-combat PTSD and i am seeking Ketamine therapy at a VA approved clinic through th VA's care in the community program. I would be willing to consider clinical trials or out if pocket expenses if it's reasonably affordable to do so.
I just had this operation done on 4/24/24, and things went really well. Coughing, sneezing, and even laughing are pretty brutal...so be very careful leading up to this surgery so you don't have a cold, flu, or allergies. Take your narcotics every 6 hours for the first three days. Just do it and be happy. Get yourself a recliner. Lay there for at least 3 days straight. Don't use your core at all in this time. A big problem I had was taking too many laxatives (MOM), while not eating enough. So my body depleted all my nutrients and became extremely lethargic and weak for day 3-4 of recovery. I do still recommend taking the laxatives, but it is hard to find the right dosage frequency to keep you loose, but still not dump all your nutrients. Watching Dr. Phil and Naked and Afraid marathons all day long was interesting, while I geeked out and ordered fishing tackle online. Get up regularly and walk around on recovery day #2. Don't push yourself the first week. Listen to your body. Day #3 go outside with someone and walk a little more. Lean forward when you walk and that will help not to feel pain in your core. Walking was perfect for releasing the horrendous gas that I was spewing. It really was uncomfortable...the bloating, IBS, churning gut. Most likely my own fault for too much laxatives. Day #4, bruising was starting to form, minor itching on the edges, which I assume is the body healing, so all seems good. Don't even think about sleeping in a flat bed for the first few days. When you do (I started on day #5), make sure you prop yourself up a little. It makes a big difference, otherwise your gut will stretch all night, and be sore in the morning. Also, if someone could help you sit up and push you up and out of bed, that would help too. Keep little tables alongside your recliner with everything you need. Water, pain killers, pillow, computer, fruit to snack on, charger, blanket. Get one of those old people grabbers from Harbor Freight for a buck. I dropped the remote, a pill, a power cord, and other things...and this grabber is a lifesaver! Yogurt and avacados seem to have calmed my bowel discomfort, bloating, and gas. Day #5 I was able to go back to work (remotely) for a couple hours, no problem. Just sitting upright at the computer. Now it is day #6, and I think it is all downhill from here. Good luck to anyone else going through this process. As long as you take it easy, listen to your body, and do things right, it is not that bad.
