That is correct. The SM4 uses a 3-pin XLR connector, so an XLR cable is needed. Please contact us at (714) 960-0600 or send us an email at support@audiogeer.com and we're happy to help and answer any other questions!
Hi, I bought the Zoom Livetrak L-20 because it had the possibility of having both Mute and Solo which would have been convenient, too bad the Solo doesn't work in the sense that I noticed that when you activate it, the selected track it increases in volume but by a lot! the clip should also go. Does this happen to yours too?
I have freedom par Hex 4 which are no longer available. I want to be able to run my for freedom bars for these lights with D-Fi.. which do you recommend? Thank you
Hello! There are a couple of different ways to achieve this without needing to upgrade your fixtures, such as operating everything off of Chauvet's DFI Transmitter / Receiver package (D-FI XLR Pack). For assistance with your setup, please give us a call at (714)960-0600 or send us an email at support@audiogeer.com.
Yes! The new Freedom Flex H9 IP fixtures include built-in D-Fi transceivers. Please give us a call at (714)960-0600 or send us an email at support@audiogeer.com for further assistance.
Yes! All you need to do is mount the receiver on the shoe mount, and connect the audio output from the receiver (3.5mm TRS OR USB-C) to the camera's audio input. For further detail, please contact us by emailing support@audiogeer.com or giving us a call at (714)-960-0600
Hello, I would like to get these Mics for our Skit team but the challenge here is which Shure receiver system should I get to connect our 12 mics or how can I connect it to the mixer?
Hello! The DL4 lavalier microphone and DH5 headset microphone come with a variety of connector options to suit whichever wireless system you are using. Connection to your mixer really depends on the wireless receiver you are using, and the number of available inputs you have on the mixer. Please contact us via email at support@audiogeer.com or give us a call at (714)960-0600 and we'll be happy to help you find the right solution for your skit team!
Hello! It really depends on the application. If you are looking to attach a lavalier microphone to a presenter, or perhaps a performer in a theater setting, Shure has some great tips for incognito placements that will achieve maximum audio quality. It really depends on the setting of the application. Where will this system be used, and how many wireless channels are there going to be in the space? Absolutely not. If you want to minimize the cable pollution in your setup, or just want to be able to move freely around your home while playing, we highly recommend a GLXD16+! Keep in mind, it also doubles as a guitar tuner!
Any idea if Shure has plans to allow you to integrate multiple MXA902s into a conference room system? Looks like a great product that could be a solution for larger rooms as well.
The MXA902 was designed to be a singular solution for small to medium conferencing rooms up to 20' x 20'. For larger rooms, we'd recommend using the MXA920 ceiling array paired with Shure's MXN5W-C ceiling loudspeaker. Can the L20 do manual Punch In & Out? If it does, is the punch in & the punch out , seamless, meaning no strange artifacts or annoying sound at the punch in/out point when u play it back? I have been using my QSC Touchmix 30 Pro for live band multi tracking of my own band. The sound of the QSC Touchmix 30 Pro is simply awesome, live or recorded (record up to 30 tracks direct to my external Solid State drive via USB). The Touchmix can do punch in/out but at the point where u punch in & out (when u play it back), there is a very loud thump, making punch in/out not feasible. Also, how is the sound quality of the recordings done on the L20? My apologies if i am asking a stupid question. I'm asking cause in my area there is no way for me to personally checkout the L20 in person....
Thanks for reaching out! The Zoom L20 can do manual punch in & out seamlessly. We haven't heard of anyone experiencing strange artifacts when punching in/out. Additionally, the L20 Records up to 24bit/96kHz audio to an SD card. Feel free to send us an email or give us a call with any further questions / assistance! support@audiogeer.com / +1(714)960-0600

Why?? The old version is awesome, the new version WHAT’S NEW VERSUS PRIOR VERSION Dual frequency band operation (2.4GHz and 5.8GHz). The v1 never dropped out NEW Guitar ¼” input in the receiver. Wow Battery now lasts ~12 hours. V1 16 hours Is it really worth the extra £200 plus, I’m disappointed with Shure
Thanks for reaching out! While the legacy GLX-D system was reliable, this update provides the capability to confidently deploy more channels in the same space. The new Dual Band Wireless Technology more than doubles the available bandwidth while also including a new feature, which intelligently avoids interference for significantly improved dropout-free audio (particularly when several channels are being deployed). As you mentioned, the new GLX-D+ system also incorporates several other technological advancements, including the new quick charge feature, which provides 1.5 hours of power from a 15-minute charge, smart rechargeability with up to 12 hours of runtime (improved from prior generation GLX-D), and convenient new ways to charge your devices. My old GLXD was great up until two or three years ago when i had all kinds of drop outs to the point it became unusable at gigs and i had to shell out a lot of extra money for an upgraded unit QXLD. While i love my new wireless i would have much preferred the old unit. The 2.4Ghz frequency is incredibly crowded so this is a welcome upgrade, just cause you personally havent had issues doesnt mean you wont at some point. The addition of the 5.8ghz dual band prevents this problem and imo alone is worth the price increase. The 1/4 guitar input means any cable can be used now with the transmitter, prior they used a connector that was basically proprietary and replacement cables were expensive and limited to options. Now you can use your favorite connector, cable, wire, length etc. and not have to shell out for the special made cables that are over $30, probably more at this point. Increased battery capacity? Uh dude, do you realize how expensive double A batteries are? Adding four hours of playtime to a charge is literally money in the bank. Im planning on getting one. Of course, i am a professional musician who uses this stuff on a regular basis. Your mileage may vary.

Thanks for this video with great content. I wanted to ask you a question: is it possible to use the Zoom Livetrack L12 / 20 with a band and make a Playlist and send the click to the drummer? I thank you for the answer
Mine is incredibly quiet. There is no way i can get the same volume level as yours. I have maxed the gain and place the mic nearly right in front of my mouth.
@@geertech Thanks for your reply. I am currently in Asia. I plan to pair my MV7 with a dynamite pre-amp and a focusrite 2i2 interface. SE has produced a new preamp--TNT. Nobody has done any review about it yet.
I am a fan of zoom products, but I was disappointed with this unit. Among the other zoom products that I own is the R24 recorder. I don't understand why they didn't integrate the features of the R24. Specifically, the automated punch in/out that is possible on the R24. The L-20 doesn't have that. Also, it's crazy that they didn't allow it to integrate the R24 in a master/slave configuration, such as one can do with 2 R24's. As a standalone mixer, it's not bad, but the recording features are a big disappointment.
