That is a good outcome. For my mate not so. Wiring and all are fine. Progressively nearly every component is getting replaced under warranty yet still same problem. More fix on the way.
i was having issues with my min kota dropping out till one day the plug connection caught on fire luckily no major damage to boat but unsure of cause of fire to this day but have since had it all completely re wired and ive never had any issues since and has not droped out spot locks way better and holds in stronger currents now to so could possibbly be a wiring issue ?
Wow! Fire? Glad it didn’t cause major damage. As for my mate’s problem with Minn Kota, all the wiring seems all good. Took it to authorised repairer. Checked everything including battery and wiring. They replaced most of components on the main unit but unfortunately still has same issue. The unit beeps and stops the prop. At no point it loses power to the unit. More warranty fix is scheduled but starting to lose faith.

It would stick out a fair bit if so. Where I am in Australia, I am pretty sure it won’t pass road rules. If the front passenger seats fold forward flat, it may be possible but I am sure they don’t.

Awesome video. I have a question I’m from up north and have targeted longtail tuna. I was wondering do you catch longtail tuna off of Sydney are they common and if so what time of year do you expect to catch them?
Thanks for your compliment! Long tails were around in the last couple of months around Sydney. Even along coastal offshore. To be honest, we go up north to Nelson Bay if we are targeting them. So many lost big kings😢 I guess this really supports the case for 50/60Lb braid and 80lb+ leader. Better luck next time, i want to see whats on the other end!
I normally fish lightest I can get away with. Only thing that got away in this day was big kings. Mind you, my setup and gear slowly creeped up heavier and heavier 😅

We had no Kingies sounding up so fished the bottom for snappers. Boat next to us did pull up a nice big king as you see in the video. I also managed to hook up a king while I was retrieving my rig from the bottom.
@@bencostandi7960 Yeah.... there were constant baitball in the bottom 20 meters in 70-80 meters of water there. Below that, big marks. Hence we went bottom bashing.
Are you referring to the what I used in the video to check weather conditions? Its not an app, but a mobile site. Do a google search on "tide 4 fishing". Its great website for fishing conditions. I bookmark the usual locations I fish and check them to decide where I launch and the day I should be heading out. Tide, wind, swell, atmospheric pressure, moon cycle etc.
Because of the terrorist attacks, everyday Australians get treated like threats, yeh, fishing is a threat to a fuel depot/refinery, a metal lure from an extra long cast might make a spark.the get away vessel be able to escape by the amount of other boat traffic, well done nanny state.
