the world is mostly sheep. its sad. infinite budgets to destroy source material. all we're seeing now. right when i seen the previews for this show, I said.. "yeah I'm not watching it". why? so I can get mad when they ruin it? have they not ruined everything? game of thrones was a pretty good series.. but if you even understood the changes they made to that, from the source material... barf. they can never stick to the lore, because theres no good game.. where the lore is about pushing interracial couplings, female empowerment, crude humor just for the sake of being crude.. is there a ton of games out like that? and the "33" on the back of their little vault uniforms, knowing that these people in hollywood are involved in occult groups like the freemasons who value the number 33, because its how old Jesus was when He died. these people are disgusting. and they have absolutely no creativity.. they just inject propaganda into things with a following.. look at the writing surrounding the propaganda.. someone wrote that all in a few days, using the most generic outcomes.. no stopping and thinking.. because evil cannot create, it can only copy. hence why the illuminati cant come up with their own popular ideas to push propaganda, they have to take other peoples ideas.. put their garbage into it.. and then ruin whatever franchise, they stole.
I think I can relate to your issues very well, though for me it translates into selfhate instead of being an asshole to others. I can't relate to "normal" people either. This caused me to get into friendships and romantic relationships with people who aren't healthy to be around. They aren't healthy for me, but they are exciting. And I can relate to them. Drug addicts, abused people, people with mental disorders, etc. And not even in a "hey, I can fix them" way but simply because they are relatable and also entertaining to me. Just wording it like that makes me feel like an asshole already. The opposite (ruining friendships because I'm like this) also happened sadly. I'm also constantly bored unless I find the one new super exciting, dopamine releasing thing that catches my interest for a while until it just stops to do that. Every hobby I find for myself I eventually lose. From 100 to 0. Sometimes after investing tons of money and time into it. That happens over and over again. So I try to escape into social life. Both online and offline. Online I find more people who I can relate to, sadly they often just live way too far away to build up a friendship where I can start hanging out with them and stuff. Offline I obviously don't have that problem, but finding a person who I can connect to is incredibly rare. Funny thing is that half a decade of therapy hasn't fixed this and it got even worse recently

Calling someone damage for being abused is something to reconsider. yes it is damaging but we are people and are not like damaged forever and we certainly shouldnt identify as damaged.. Is this your first time witnessing mindless consoomers worshipping and defending a rendition slop of a once great franchise? Let me tell you, dude: My 3 favorite franchises are Star Wars, Halo, and Mass Effect. No one has experienced this more than I have lol, or at least very few people have. Star Wars was absolutely slaughtered beyond repair by Disney while Halo was gutted by 343i, that didn't stop brainless consoomers from eating up their slop mindlessly and defending it with no rational thought outside of "Dude, grow up" or "Lol, you're mad." Now, I'm a big Fallout fan. Not one of my favorite franchises, but it's a franchise I'd say I'm a big fan of. When this was announced, I knew it was Disney Star Wars and 343i Halo all over again, so I didn't bother watching or caring about it, still haven't watched it and I never will. Well, Season 1 hits Prime and everyone is praising it to Heaven. The majority of people I encountered that love this show has either admitted to never playing a single Fallout game or their first introduction to the series was Fallout Shelter and/or Fallout 4. In short, consoomers enable these corporates to ruin franchises, a tale as old as time.
Im in a facebook group for fallout fans. 99% of the posts is “New vegas fans are awful” , “New vegas and 1 , 2 are trash games compared to 4 and 3” and just now I saw someone say “Unpopular opinion but I think you could still be concidered a fallout fan if you have never played any of the games but love the tv show” and everyone in the comments just mindlessly defending and attacking anyone who goes against this mindless consumer garbage. Im convinced this is a bot network setup by bethesda so they can change the direction of their fanbase to forget about obsidian fallout and just mindlessly praise bethesda fallout. Its so disgusting. Bethesda fanboys will always defend any garbage they release, we know this, but there are also a lot of people who didn't know Fallout who think this series is a good product, all people who watch/play the thing of the moment without ever turning on their brains and by accepting any low quality rubbish, then a collective opinion is created, probably dictated by fanboys and fake reviews, which is passed on to this mass of people and so a series like fallout is a masterpiece because everyone apparently says it's good, how sad. And meanwhile Bethesda spits on what Fallout once was and on old fans with every product they release, but please don't complain because if you do you're a New Vegas purist. These things have been happening for a long time but I think there is a slow worsening, we have really reached a low level
I agree with you. The show is garbage. I also hated the retcons such as Shady Sands being moved to where the Boneyard is suppose to be, Shady Sands being nuked or "fell" 4 years before the events of New Vegas, the NCR being reduced to a raider gang wearing airsoft gear with not a single wooden M16 in sight, ghouls need medication to not go feral and Vault Tec started the war by nuking their own country instead of China invading Alaska cuz that would be bad for Amazon business. It's disappointing that so many critics shilled for this show. I hope this comment section doesn't get raided by Amazon bots which happened to all other negative review videos of this show.
They "played" far too much with the lore. I couldn't get over how unseriously some of the actors took their roles. I get that its a video game but the general point of the games is that you are literally in a nuclear wasteland, why couldn't they at least attempt to make it feel like that... Instead we ended up with some quirky scifi show with a fallout skin on top of it. They also didn't use the established universe to add richer + interesting stories into the universe. I highly doubt the makers of this show will be creative enough to create a "Republic of Dave" scenerio" or add in the random encounter sorta stuff you'd find in the side quests. Instead we end up ticking boxes for stuff that we already know exists in the universe and not pushing things too far in the edgelord sense cause the audience doens't wanna feel uncomfortable with what humanity WOULD ACUTALLY DO in a nuclear wasteland with no laws.
To be fair, Fallout 2 retconned the location of Mariposa Base, Vault 13, Shady Sands and Vault 15 by moving them slightly to the west. Not defending the show, just wanted to let you know.
I only kicked u because I assumed when u said "I feel like I'm not long for this place" or something of that sort... you meant that u were gonna jump ship, and that was at a point when everyone else was jumping ship.
