Hi, and thanks for letting me know. Most Uni-thread is designated W, or waxed, so the leader should float initially. If you want yours to continue to float, then a floatant will be required when the wax wears off. I like the versatility of the option to fish them wet, with no floatant, then treat them when the hatch starts. I use the red container Mucelin.
