My name is Barry and I live in Madison, Wisconsin. My passion for restoring furniture goes beyond a mere hobby; it's a heartfelt commitment to sustainability and preservation. Each restoration project is a labor of love, a tribute to the craftsmanship of bygone eras, and a personal challenge to restore not just the physical piece but also its history
Bravo Barry 🎉❤Incredible piece of work👏👏👏Your video was inspiring and your organizational skills are unequaled! You’re a very patient man to go through every step of restoration necessary to produce such a masterpiece! Well done ❤
Hi Barry I appreciate when you share your heart.. it really shows how deep and introspective you are Have you done a personality test ? Are you an INFJ ? I have found that for me refinishing or painting/ up cycling furniture or other decor is definitely a great creative outlet for me that has a therapeutic effect - helps me focus and chill out Xxx
Hi, I think you did a wonderful job on the dresser! Please keep old furniture out of the landfill. You will provide someone with a truly functional piece of furniture.👍
You help a lot of people but most of all your passion is helping your quest for happiness and that is essential in order to share your gift with others. I love your videos because it calms my me and your soft voice is so peaceful and reassuring. What a great studio you have and believe me you did the right thing to switch career. God bless and be happy. You most certainly deserve the best! ❤❤❤❤❤
I know it's not what you wanted, but I love the colour! I think it is beautiful! 😍 I'm glad you continue to share your work with us! Sorry I'm only just catching up on your videos now - was visiting my guy in WI. We took a little trip to Mad City and area - so much interesting geology! ❤❤❤
Your work is lovely. It's interesting that most male refinishers seem to restore to unpainted while most women refinishers restore to an updated paint colour! I like your videos but wish you'd use a more upbeat tone of voice. Your work is beautiful, be happy about it, lol!
It's absolutely stunning. I would be thoroughly thrilled to have that in my home and get to look at it everyday. I learned a lot from the way you explained each step and showed which tools you used. I've been intrigued by this type of work for years, and I've come close several times before to picking up a practice piece and having a go. I can already tell this channel will give me another big nudge by demystifying a bunch of techniques and supplies, so it'll be that much less daunting when I do decide to go for it. It's tough in a 1 bedroom apartment, but it would be cool to have a workspace in a storage unit or something. Don't have to necessarily wait until I have a garage or shed. 🤔
Such a great teacher of patience, and quality workmanship. I could probably not do this level of detail, however it's very satisfying watching YOU do it! Plus the tools!!!
I enjoy watching your videos, you always do a great job. I’ve seen you use a color of stain called Candlelight (I think). It’s my favorite. Was wondering what brand it is? Thanks.
