These cars are also my favorite. (Except, only with a stick). Building a car with limitations, and the 1st one to the finish line is what it was all about. Couldn't stand it when brackets evolved. Only go now-a-days, to test the car. Thanks for posting.
Im looking at buying the 2300 sniper kit for my 68 f350 with the 360FE. Any advice or things to look for before i spend $1,500 on it? Im tired of having to constantly be tuning my carb for altitude when i go up and down the mountain for work (utility truck) and would be nice to get some better mpg’s considerigas here is almost $6 a gallon
Its so amazing how these exhausts all sound like a band playing music. Next concert I go to I hope like hell they play constant NHRA races or maybe even Indy Cars the whole time. That would be awesome.
Can't wait to see this all done and with the final numbers are going to be. I don't believe you hear very much of doing something like this with these L8T motors. From the sounds of it. Absolute beast. That's going to last..
@@bigadielldne7234 pretty insane. I just got my 2024 Chevy Express Cargo Van 6.6 l. Yesterday May 30th 24. It has 117 mi on it.. nice to have something new for once..
Mine hit 582/611 with stock exhaust. Only swapped out mid pipes to hfc on the primaries. But I'm running e85. Would be interesting If an axle back actually gained anything besides better sound lol
Whiners go listen to this again. 100hp gain 5 lbs isnt bad at all! Intercooler built in a huge bonus Little more boost 750hp 350 and looks killer. Go complain somewhere else. These make HUGE torque down low to top end...drive one first. Dyno numbers dont mean dick . Love to have one on my solid roller 383. Big ol middle finger sticking out of the hood hell yes!
My 2012 sonic 1.4 turbo is pushing 404 hp eating GTIs for breakfast out here, they think its just another sonic with someone who thinks because it says turbo on the back that its cool, until i light it up and jaws are hitting floors
What a beautiful car, amazing interview and very informative! Need more videos like this! I love seeing the factory classes and the bracket cars run. NHRA destroyed prostock and turned it into another GM clone bubble car class!
8years on and still no short motor or block only option as promised repeatedly . LOL Be careful many combos are not full internal balance , single piece crank seal ie your oil pan may not work .
I was at a Jeep show and there was a KC booth and I asked the rep how does the KC lights compare to ANZO. And he kinda took me to the side and said that he used to work for ANZO and that KC is crap. lol. I order 4 of the 10inch ANZO LED light bars and rain, snow, ice, cold, summer heat, tree branches, mud, even under water and the ANZO are still working the same as they did right out of the box.
How can u compare 304 ci to 372ci? It’s facts that theirs no substitute for cubic inches. BUT HP PER CUBIC IN THE COYOTE WINS, its 19hp Down from ls3 .
I find it very cute that you have to takes a 6.2L/376ci chevy motor to compete with a 5.0L/302ci ford motor. When a LS4 is closer at 5.3L/325ci. But wait if you made the odds even chevy has no chance .. 😭😂😂😂
My first car at 17, 1961 red Chevy 2-door bubble top Impala. Bought it in 1969 for $500. It only had a 283 v8, 3 speed manual on the column, no ac, and worst of all no power steering! I put Mickey Thompson 70 series tires all around with American mags, what a beast to park. Loved that car
I would buy one of the many choices of cheap used dodges with failed lifter engine damage. Would be nice if it included a auto trany that can handle the hp too.
I'm 76 and been around a while, had a couple Y's in the past one had the twin tea pots w/air cleaner. Bought a SS396 Chevelle and the that was that, still have the Chevelle and a 70 Monte Carlo, both run mid 5s in bracket trim. Close friend and his pals ran dirt track stockers in the early 70's to quote: We spent heavy bread on a couple 312s and the junk yard 327s would kick our ass's. "chuckle'.
Yeah, bracket racing is racing against a time you give them, in Stock class, you're running against the other cars. I love class racing, you just have to be the fastest in your class
