Moin Leute . Der Capri ist in England konstruiert worden . Daher 4 verschiedene Gewindearten beim Capri . UNC, UNF , Whitworth und Metrisch . Alles wild durcheinander gewürfelt . Katastrophe .
Thanks for that. This is the bike at the top of my list & it's good to know as much as possible before I jump. I noticed in one of the comments about valves. I could well be wrong, but was under the impression they're at the same intervals as oil changes?. I'd also like to see a video on that. PS. I understand German and speak it badly, but I'm rubbish at trying to write it so hoping you'll understand this comment.
@@brickhousegaragegermany I'm interested to know any & everything you have to say regarding this bike. I've been stuck & flopping back & forth between it and a Ducati desert sled. I know the sled is bigger, faster, posher, but I'm fairly sure it's also like a posh woman from the city. High maintenance and requires you to spend allot of money on her to keep her happy lol. Besides, I think in rural Britain were I live and all our small twisty roads the caballero with it's 50k lighter weight would just be more fun.
@@max.fleming1045 I can't say much about the Ducati since I've never ridden one, but the Fantic is in my opinion prettier, great fun in corners, fits me much better than my old SV since I'm pretty tall and it is super light. It does have quirks but I'm sure the Ducati will have some too. Mine is a 2019 and the engine still doesn't run very smoothly although i heard the later ones might have a bigger flywheel which fixes that. the engine is really the only thing where i think the Ducati might be better since I love v-twins. In comparison to some other 1 cylinder scramblers I've ridden like the Royal Enfield Scram 411 its much more spirited and fun. Its not all that good on the Autobahn since its so tall and offers little to no wind protection but that's not really the point of the bike. Its great on country roads and pretty off-road capable too. I did have some weird issues like my fuel hose breaking and my Clutch cable ripping which really isn't acceptable for a bike only 4 years old but all the little quirks and oddities give the bike a lot more character than my friends KTM Adventure 390 which is very similar spec wise but kinda soulless to ride. All in all I really like it, and If I ever sell it, its prolly to buy the caballero 700 with the mt07 engine since I definitely enjoy 2 cylinders more. Additionally while the exhaust manifold is a hot mess, the stock muffler looks and sounds great. Yeah that's all I can think of right now, if you have any questions feel free to ask them :) Hope I could help.
@@brickhousegaragegermany I know exactly what you mean about twins. I currently have a Honda 650 Transalp 2007 model. I almost love the engine but for it's appalling fuel economy. Otherwise it's not an inspirational bike to ride. It's 200 kilos and incredibly top heavy. It's trying to be the jack of all trades and in my humble opinion not very good at any. It's great on a motorway but that's not where I ride most. I don't know enough about bike geometry to be able to say, but I'm sure that that & the 21" front wheel is why it's really not happy on the tight twisty rural roads I ride most often. Also with it top heavy 200 k weight it's really sketchy on even just smooth gravel roads let alone a muddy trial. I love that Yamaha cp2 engine in the caballero 700. I've a mate with a T7 and I've ridden that a few times. It's a big improvement over my Transalp, but still a heavier bike than I want. Also I've looked longingly at the soon to arrive caballero 700. It's gorgeous with the fantastic engine though it is a much more street oriented scrambler with only a 150mm suspension travel. I live on the border with mid Wales & there's hundreds of miles of off road trails right on my door step & really want a bike that will give me access to them. At the same time I need a daily commuter. I did for a while consider the Honda crf 300 rally. It's actually a really good bike but just a bit too under powered for my liking. Last September I rode the CRF 300L back to back with the fantic caballero rally on test rides. The caballero felt like a race horse compared to the trusty donkey crf 300L. I don't know where you are and how many trails you have access to?. Many many years ago I lived in central Bavaria & that was off road heaven. I have just as good here in Wales. There's a legendary trans euro trail section in west Wales called the Strata Florida. I think the caballero 500 might just be the perfect bike & still get me to work on Monday.
By the way: Moritz von "Motoritz" schraubt an den XT's, nicht Nils Homann.
