Hi, I am having issues with multiple pH meters HI98128 in our order of 15 meters. Initially, they worked. But now, many meters cannot calibrate for pH 4.01. They calibrate normally for 7.01, but then they are put into the 4.01, the wrong message appears. How can we fix this? We have already tried soaking it in pH 4.01 buffer solution.
Hi there! I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with this. We would be more than happy to help you get this fixed. Please email our Tech team at tech@hannainst.com for assistance.
Take the entire video off .Wasted my time rewinding the video over and over. What should have been 5 minutes turned into 15 ... Amature video,no explanation on when or how much tank water to add to the container....
The Legend Of Billie Jean, 1985 Movie. She cuts her hair in the bathroom and then go's outside and reveals her new hair style ..You know this music reminded you of the scene .
I have a problem while calibrating. I first dip it in the 7.01 solution until stable (all good). Then it prompts for 4.01, so I give it a quick rinse in deionised watee and then dip it in the 4.01 solution. But I get an error. Instructions says that if error occurs, leave it in cleaning solution for 15mins. Then storage solution for an hour before attempting to calibrate again. I did all that, but I'm still getting the error prompt when dipping in the 4.01 solution. Can someone help please? I hope I don't need to change the probe. These things are expensive. 😢

You mean Hanna meters do anything but say "error" every single time you try to calibrate them? I bought a Hanna Groline PH meter AND a Hanna TDS/EC. Ended up returning both of them. Hanna is total garbage
We are sorry to hear that you had issues with Hanna's meters. Our Tech team is an amazing resource and can be reached through tech@hannainst.com. They would be more than happy to help you next time if you need it.
thanks for the video and good product. I am using the probe for ferment salami manufacture where pH declines over days. Would be great to be able to change the measurement increments to wider than 1 second to preserve battery and reduce data and cleansing.
Some of our devices come with 1 reagent while others come with multiple - it all depends on the test that you are running. You will need to check the sample before and after the reagent is added so that you can get your reading.
Please email intl@hannainst.com and we will get you connected to the Hanna office nearest you. They will be able to get you the accurate pricing details.
What would be the best tester model for monitoring a 30 gallon freshwater aquarium? I see you offer a line of freshwater testers, which one would be the best to use? I would imagine ammonia is most important to monitor?
Hi there! The ones that we would recommend for you would be the HI98108 (pH), HI775 (Alkalinity), HI700 (Ammonia Low Range), HI702 (Copper - for medicating fish). The HI702 will work in both freshwater and saltwater.

This Checker is designed for saltwater aquarium use. We do have an awesome GroLine collection if you are looking to test anything grown in the ground, aquaponic, or hydroponic environments!
I am new to this but this video does not help. I can’t stop getting max volume exceeded messages when trying to test or calibrate. What am I doing wrong?
