Can I ask how you free fly like that and also how do you do the part where you can start it up yourself? I'm asking because when I go there, it asks me a start location to fly from and to a location, although it's not clear of telling me where to go and right at the start, it doesn't give me the option to start up (the helicopter is already started up) when I click ' FLY'
This brought back some absolutely wonderful memories!! My Grandma and I used to fly on this wonderful aircraft from Southampton Airport ( UK ) to a beautiful little island called Alderney in the Channel islands ( part of the UK, but right next to France ). There are a whole series of books for children called " The Little Yellow Plane Adventures ", about a Trislander called Joey, published in the 1980s. That's the reason why a couple of the planes in the fleet had a face!! And it's actually from this very aircraft that one of the UK's most famous UFO cases took place in 2007! Thank you so much for this wonderful video my friend 🙂✈
How did you turn the autopilot on? I didn't see the arrow move anywhere? surely you didn't use hot keys to turn it on, right? you wouldn't do that in a tutorial where you're showing others what to do? right?
Nice review, thank you! A question: I've got the JF Pipers as well as the WB Sim Cessna 152. Is the Tomahawk bringing anyhing "new"? The same goes for the comanche . Which one of these two do you think is the best buy? I love great sounds, seeing vibrations, and great behaviour both on ground an in the air. =) Which one would you recommend? =)
The TRs don't work as expected. I either get idle thrust in the idle detent and only idle reverse, or I get idle reverse in the reverser axis and idle power in the idle detent. It's astonishing really
One big problem with TDS 750 is that the message annuciator doesn’t work in the TBM 850. Per TDS it is their problem and supposedly on a list to be fixed
Sir, I have the SiemBrief icon available but when I click on it, it doesn't display any list, however importing flight plans from navgraph works, is there a plugin that I'm missing?
If only this unit wasn’t dependent upon the garmin trainer updates. It’s the absolute best representation of the gtn 750. I mean it’s using the native software so it doesn’t get much better. However, I can just imagine being on pilot edge and not having up to date nav data, which can cause problems.
You should use the speedbrake to slow down if going to slow in descent, not the landing gear. also in descent it is normal to close the throttles with TMS in DESC mode (which keeps a set minimimum speed to ensure adequate hydraulics whilst allowing quick descent. Thens use speedbrake to control descent IAS.
Nice video, thank you :) I'm so tempted to get this, I have the non-navigraph version, but ... I was spending a lot of time touring around former Soviet countries. Because the TDS GTN is the Garmin trainer it uses the Garmin sample airac which is a cut down set of where most people will want to see. I needed a gps that would take me to any airport in the sim, so I had to use either the (paid) PMS or the GNS 430/530 combo. I believe this upgrade to the TDS unit lets you use navigraph airacs so maybe it adds the missing airports ... Also because this is so external to the sim it doesn't talk to anything else, if you have a cockpit with two of these they don't even talk to each other, where the PMS or WT gps units talk to each other and to the world map if you use that to build the flight plan. Then there's the thing of choosing whether you want to see the GPS or the chart ...
It does add the missing airport charts, as long as they are part of navigraph. I spent a while flying outside the US and everytime I needed charts, they were there. If an airport isn't showing because in real life it was decommissioned or it's private, you can save it as a custom waypoint. I recall it being in the manual. If I remember correctly, you just need the latitude and longitude, I had to use that feature once for either FSEconomy or Neofly. Yes, sadly I think it doesn't communicate with the GNS combo, but that's just for the FP. You can manually type in your FP on your secondary GPS to follow it there as well. Technically, you'd only have a chart up all the time during departure or landing, but that's optional if it's an easy SID or easy approach. I honestly really like this. I think this being the real garmin trainer makes up for it. If you're curious about anything, let me know and I will check it in the sim.
The GTNXi uses the real garmin trainer, so it's just like using the real GPS. If you value fidelity more, that's the one benefit that sells the GTNXi in my opinion.
Nice video, with a neat descent as described in the booklet. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and the time you put into this video. I wish you much success with our wonderful hobby💗
Just finding this plane on Marketplace. The reason that the pilot will sit in the rear is for weight distribution since its a tail dragger. If the pilot sat up front that would put the CG too far forward and would probably lead to flipping the plane over when either landing or braking hard. The seating is also the same for many planes having the tail wheel.
Im sure you've realized it by now but i think the switch on the right side of the dash near the top will toggle the beep. Its also not very abrasive compared to some. Thanks for the video
Hello. I know that this video is about 2 years old. But I could really use someone's help. So, none of the features work in particular the voices. And the aircraft doesn't raise when connecting to the aircraft. The biggest issue is that when looking at the window that shows what position the aircraft is in, and getting ready to place with the mouse where you want to put the aircraft, the picture of the aircraft is huge! Rather it is smaller like the illustration shown in this video. Is there ANYONE that can help? Please? :) Thank you!
I use Pro ATC/SR a lot, but I don't like the CRDWF waypoints it automatically generates, even though very often their location of CRDWF is right by an already established waypoint location. Do you know a way around this, or is there a way we can delete CRDWF from the systems? A lot of checking needs to take place prior to departure, to ensure the SimBrief flight plan, the MCDU/FMC flight plan and the Pro ATC/SR flight plan all match. Most of the time they do, but occasionally there are additional (or missing) waypoints. Do you find this?
I bought Mriya on day one. Couldn't wait. I was actually even attempting to preorder it. I NEVER preorder, but the combination of demented russian invasion into Ukraine, destruction of Mriya, iniBuilds pledge to donate first year of sales towards building new Mriya, all of that led me to buy the plane on the first day. But i still had a lot of other planes to fly, and i only got to AN225 now. When i get a new plane, i'm always going through the checklists, and creating this sort-of "cheatsheet". It's an excel file, basically all the planes checklists in condensed form. Creating the checklist tables for various planes in excel helps me remember the procedures better, and i can usually do the entire checklist from memory after a few flights. Of course, when i fly with one type of aircraft for a long time and then come back, i need a refresher. That's where the cheat sheets are useful. So, i finally got to Mriya, started writing the cheat sheet, and discovered the cargo options on the EFB tablet. So of course that i had to open the massive nose door. The issue is - it doesn't want to close. I flipped the button on the tablet, and there's a progress bar going up, but the nose isn't coming back... Any tips?
The cowan b222 and the 500 always pull to the right no matter what even at full speed and lower speeds. So annoying and its not the rudder or tail rotor. Only two helicopters to have that problem so save your money till its fixed or prepare to be mega annoyed
Hello! I am using a logitehc x56, so my throttle goes from 0 to 100% without any sense as to where my idle would be. I would like to make this so when I am in idle, i push a button on it, that changes into reverse, then I can use the whole 0-100% way as revers. Is this possible?
Hello sir, thanks for this video. How can you Fly this aircraft (The F28) in A pilot's life ? In this addon, I just finded licence to buy for the F50, the F70 and the F100 ? (but unfortunately not for the F28)... ( I've the "chapter 2" version of it).
You can fly any airplane in APL! Your licenses only change the routes you receive, and the companies you can fly for, but for the actual flying, you can fly anything! You can fly the F28 on any route on APL.
