Hi! Thanks for visiting my RU-vid channel, The Donald Duck Project. The purpose of The Donald Duck Project is to bring old comic books to life by using my ability to speak like Donald Duck and his nephews (Huey, Dewey & Louie), and various other characters. I have been fortunate enough to locate other voice talent to assist me by voicing characters in comic dubs such as, Uncle Scrooge, Daisy, and many others. As you watch and listen to the comics that are read in character, please take note of the spectacular artists and writers who brought the Duckburg universe to life. These include some of the greats such as, Carl Barks, Don Rosa, Tony Strobl, Al Taliaferro, Jack Bradbury, and many others. I hope you enjoy the comic dubs and if there is a particular comic from the Duckburg universe that you would like me to dub, shoot me a line.
Man, Donald is such an @$$HOLE in this comic! Like, he committed a crime against his own family member and tried to pin the blame on someone else who didn't deserve it and got punished for his crime! I - I HATE Donald here! How could anyone like him after this!?

As an Italian, from the country The Duck Avenger (or how it's called in Italy, Paperinik) was born, I'm super happy that Disney Italian comics are getting recognition from audiences abroad. It's something that makes me proud of my country.

It is pretty good to see the Duck Avenger return for a time-travel adventure in this recent comic dub. I wonder if there will be a dub of a crossover comic with Mickey Mouse in the near future. There is one called "New Year's Nightmare," where Donald and Mickey team up to stop their arch enemies, The Phantom Blot and Magica De Spell during New Year's Eve.
In his introduction to "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck", Don Rosa called Carl Barks, "The greatest story teller of the 20th Century". Seeing the dubs of these Barks stories, it's not hard to see why.
I wasn't thinking Scrooge would be the type to have a cat and give away kittens. I guess the old miser has more of a soft side than I anticipated! ..... Unless this is al a part of his latest get rich quick schemes...
It’s interesting to note that this is the first appearance of Cornelius Coot. Being such an iconic landmark, it’s strange to think he was only mentioned in three Barks stories, and that none of the other artists used the statue. The statue ended up catching on over in Italy when it appeared in the story “Archimede Pitagorico e l'uomo medio”. Interestingly enough Tony Strobl who never illustrated it in America, actually got to draw in its fifth ever appearance in “Foul Weather Friend”, both these stories never made it stateside. It ended up making a cameo on DuckTales, in the episode "Ducks on the Lam" as a small scale statue in park. This was before the backstory adding significance to the corn was invented, as such he’s shown holding not corn, but a centerpiece crammed with fruit. However, even without the later origin story of the corn, said corn absolutely should’ve been included, because Coot’s name is a joke. CORNelius. Over here in America it was Don Rosa who ended up bringing it back in the comics, and creating the backstory behind the statue. It was later revealed that Cornelius was Donald’s great great grandfather, which makes sense, as Coot had been used as the last name of one of Donald’s one-off cousins, Cuthbert Coot, in the story “Webfooted Wrangler”. Neat, isn't it?
Scrooge:"Now to call up the Mayor. I'm sure he'll want to hire 'Scrooge McDuck Demolitions' to tear down all those Cornelius Coot statues... For a not so small fee of course, Hee hee hee. I can then reuse the rubble from the statues as free material for my 'Scrooge McDuck Construction Co.' Then..." (Scrooge McDuck always knows how to turn a problem, into a profit)
@@TheDonaldDuckProject Any plans to do comic dubs of specific comics highlighted in Mike Matei’s video on “Walt Disney Comics and Stories”? So far, you already did “Gladstone’s Terrible Secret” and “Terror of the Beagle Boys”. The remaining comics on Mike Matei’s list that aren’t dubbed are “Billions to Sneeze At”, “Bicep Blues”, “Pool Sharks”, “Swimming Swindlers”, “A Financial Fable” and “Going Buggy”. I’ll be putting a playlist with the remaining comic dubs put in.
@@TheDonaldDuckProject Lovely McDuck story, BTW. Also stuff like this makes you wonder why Fred Wolf would be so cheap to not let Donald be in a cartoon series meant to be a tribute to those stories, especially in an adaptation of the Tra-lalla story.
