It has been a while. I am supposed to go next year, but I have a concern. Is the school paying for the students' expenses or are the students expected to pay for their own trip?

Thank you for bringing these videos back! They give a much better student POV compared to the video of the mom and daughter. That one was way too somber.

I just got out of the phone requesting a cancelation of trip due to my child moving into another school and needing the money to pay for classes to pass 3 exams and that I wasn't able to make more payments. I was told that they will keep over $500. I feel devastated specially because I have other 2 children that are also traveling with them. I feel robed and misunderstood. I hope people will read this before making any decisions
Overly excited to finally make my little me’s dream come true. So surreal to think I’ll be there July of 2024 and to whoever sees this I’ll see you guys in Barcelona, don’t mind me if I cry. I just never thought I’d actually get myself to travel there.
Just signed up 3 months ago for a language immersion trip to Madrid, Toledo, and Barcelona with my high school I’m attending next year. Also looking into the Germany, Denmark, and Iceland summit a month afterwards!
I remember my EF tours trip called "Germany in Depth". It was a 10 day tour around Germany. I took this trip in the spring of 2007 which was my senior year of high school. My German language teacher took us. I remember we did alot of fund raising to pay for our trip. It helped me because at the time, I had a single mother who struggled to take care of me and my brother for a good while so I couldn't pay the remainder of the trip cost. But because of the fund raising we did, my teacher, Frau O'CONNELL, paid the remaining portion of my trip fees. If it wasn't for her, this little black girl from the Bronx would of never got to experience leaving the United States to travel abroad. This trip with EFTours stuck with me ever sense. It is because of EFTours, I traveled to more places abroad in my adult life. I highly recommend teachers and parents go through EFTours as their travel guide. They did such an amazing job and provided me with long lasting fond memories I would never ever forget. I learned so much about the country and met some life long friends with the other students from another state whom we shared the experience with. Thank you EFTours, I had such a blast!! As an adult now at the age of 34, I will always be greatful for the time I spent with our guide and other students. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! 😊 ❤️

EF tours won’t ever see another cent from me, and I hope my honest review will save you from making the same mistake. My sons middle school booked a trip to Washington DC from Las Vegas in June of 2022. Prior to departure I found out my son would be in a room with 3 other boys. I asked them how that was possible and was told two boys to a bed. What? In 2020 putting teenagers in the same bed is ok? Whether they be two boys or two girls or boy girl it is simply not acceptable. They did offer a $150 charge per night to put him in a room with only 1 other boy, but i would have to find someone else to accept that offer as well. $3000 trip and my son has to share a double bed? You wouldn't put a boy in the same bed as a girl, for obvious reasons, those reasons now also apply to two teenagers of the same sex. Second point Prior to the trip we had to provide Covid documentation and being we have at risk people in the family this was a determining factor in allowing him to go on the trip. Required documents: Covid 19 Vaccination negative covid test within 72 hours of departure. Upon return from the trip we were notified that one parent and one student tested positive for Covid. My son got sick and we tested him and he was positive. All four of us living in the house got sick and tested positive. When I asked about the test and vaccines I was informed that NO ONE asked to see the documents prior to leaving. So in my eye this was simply FALSE ADVERTISING! Why list required documents that weren’t required? How do i know that no one on this trip was positive when they left? EF Tours took NO steps toward ensuring the safety of my child and my family. Please stay away from this predatory tour company that cares nothing for our children’s health and safety.
