Yeah, the rain before made for some pretty solid conditions out there. I’m glad I got to ride it in the dry Friday too for the contrast in conditions! You’ve got some epic local trails out there! Will be returning for sure!
I can assure you it was 😂. That first stage (stage 3) was about 10 minutes long, I’d say 6-7 minutes of it was pedaling as fast as you could with all that chunk in between. 😅
The dirt was perfect for 80% of the stages. Few real muddy/wet parts but otherwise great. This was my first time blind racing since my first race back in 2004? It’s exciting and scary - but I do enjoy it. I certainly could have done better having practiced it, but just wasn’t in the cards for me on this race. Getting a days worth of practice in for Ashland at the end of the month at least!
What are the trails with the jumps? I’ve been riding there for a month and have found a few small jumps, and two lines with a teeter totter and small drop, and another line with 2 slightly bigger drops. Would love to know which trails you’re on here
@@joshmaurerMTBany idea of what area they were in? like maybe which parking lot you started from? And I see you’re riding a Ripmo I’ve got one showing up in a couple weeks, can not wait!! Demo’d one in Santa Cruz and fell in love, and it’ll be perfect for when I move to PNW soon
Hey man! Your videos keep popping up for me, looks like some really cool trails near you. I'm in the Seattle area... are you in CA somewhere? Santa Cruz?
Yo! I live in the Santa Cruz area. I’d love to ride up in Washington sometime. I’ll be racing the Ashland Enduro in September, but that’s as far north as I have been to ride besides Whistler.
@@joshmaurerMTB Nice! I've seen a lot of cool looking trails in Santa Cruz area. Some actually looks quite a bit like the Pacific Northwest. There's a ton of great stuff around Seattle and Bellingham if you ever make it up this far. Feel free to reach out if you do!
Hi Philipp, zero issues so far. Really loving them. I ride hard on wheels and they are doing great. My wife has a set too and also really enjoys them! Thanks for reaching out
