Hi, welcome to my RU-vid page. I've spent my adult life working with the two big passions that I have, radio and trains. I'm going to share a lot of that with you here. Most importantly, I hope you enjoy the videos here. Thank you for watching!
I remember when Playboy did a story about how The Philippines had become a playground for the 7th Fleet with cheap booze, tons of girls and bars. That got a lot of attention
I was 6-7 years old when a Navy Recruiter met my mom and followed inner ear remote communication to place me alone with a strange man In Philippines. Federal Intelligence was studying conducting research of my behavior. My online activity is also studied tracked so that the analyst who attempted to murder in 1982 Clark Airforce Base can conduct a 2nd attempt. After 40 years federal Intelligence has conducted a 2nd attempted homicidal operation. This approach that is being conducted in San Antonio Texas. Involves hidden surveillance hacking and those who have worn inner ear devices for years. The wearers now follow Similar remote instructions like the Navy Recruiter. The approach involves applying Rorsarch Testing where Intelligence CIA FBI will control others remotely to mentally provoke me or anticipate a response. * Intelligence helped my father with an affair then immediately accessed my mom's inner ear communicator and informed her to drive in a direction to catch the affair. After attempting to murder me as a child and influencing my parents divorce and also guiding my father's mother to take the garden hose and spray the window at my black negro face before she died. Federal Intelligence today uses all of intelligence gathering analyzing and hidden surveillance to use me for internal agency amusement and Abusive practices. Hackers Analyst Coders also refer to me as a schizophrenic n*gg
@@garywballard6310 Yet my notes from the Calif. DMV Driver's Handbook says yes, but I don't know the limits on that; and my searches came up with this: "As to double parallel solid or white lines, note that a driver can cross them if: turning left at an intersection, turning out of a driveway or private road, or making a U-turn." (Calif. Vehicle Code, section 21460). I've been searching for the full text of that part of the section, but for some reason can't get to it yet. ?? I'll keep looking.)
Sorry to say so much, but the quotation I found actually says all the following and maybe the U-turn it doesn't actually apply to the double solid YELLOW lines: Vehicle Code 21460 is the California statute that provides rules regarding driving on State roadways with parallel lines. Per this statute, motorists cannot drive to the left of: double parallel solid yellow or white lines, or double parallel lines, one of which is broken, unless to pass another car.1 As to double parallel solid or white lines, note that a driver can cross them if: turning left at an intersection, turning out of a driveway or private road, or making a U-turn.
Went there in 1991. Helped with the evacuation when the eurption occured, then came back in Ocotober of that year. A whole alot of postitute a dime dozen or should i say a penny a dozen. Glad we moved out of that country otherwise 80 percent of our service memebers would of married a local there hence there whold families and town would be migrating to the USA
As a Navy veteran, I wish I could have gone there in it's hayday as well as Clark. If it wasn't for the Philippine government they would still be there. Both of those would be awesome now I could shop at the Nex or PX.
Most vídeos about blind spots over complicated stuff and never actually show how you should move around large vehicles, this is so so good. Finally I understand.
Not good to do it there. If you can find a right turn to make into a parking lot to turn around in. Or if you're in a town go around a block and come back to where you need to go the other way.
Well, as long as you use your turn signal to go into a driveway. If other motorists have to stop behind you to wait, they don't have any other choice but to wait a few seconds for you to make your turn.
There was a multi purpose fuel pipeline from Subic to Clark. The only one the military owned in the world. Would have to drive the pipeline once a month for repairs.
That was a big mistake by the Philippines government to terminate those American bases here in the Philippines. Look what happening now at the south china sea. China are bullying the philippines and claiming the south china sea's they're territory.
I loved watching FEN Philippines. I can still vividly play the background music used by the Military Airlift Command when it was time to show their flight schedules.
correct, you can only pass if the double yellow line is broken on your side. BUT you can go over the double yellow line to go around a vehicle stopped on the side of the road as I explained in the video.
phil leadrship overplayed their hand wanting like like $300 mil upfront cash and guarnteed numbers of employees on bases and so on. pinaturbo hit bye bye and got jack squat.
The mayor of Pampanga (or Angeles, as I'm recalling this story of years ago) once said that he would be able to deal with the cost of the eruption of Mt Pinatubo but he would never be able to handle the economic loss of the US Armed Forces leaving that area of the Philippines.
As an American I love the Philippines and understand their sovereignty, but at the same time wonder if a fully capable Naval base now would help to keep that sovereignty intact against the new threat of Chinese PLA Navy. I hope we at least keep the Philippines protected because they are a shimmering glory of freedom in Asia.
1:06, only at such an opening or a striped line, would allow you to cross the double continuing line because it does not continue on that spot, here in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and most European countries. We are not allowed to cross a solid ( here white) road axis line ( middle line). Fine: €240 is about $261 Here 11 N209 maps.app.goo.gl/QG4HtbWR66TGW1Gi6 You can see where the farmer can cross the double white line to turn left. The small openings are to let water through and the bigger openings allow you to cross the line. Still no overtaking here: €240......
We are in the age of technolog right now but not even 1 truck manufacturers bother to use cameras for no zones? There should be 3 screens for 3 no zones.
You nailed it! Been wondering myself if truck tractors have in the cab, a alarm that sounds when another vehicle is to your side. Cars have it, why not big trucks?
Thanks for confirming that. I’ve heard that we must park on right side of the road if there’s one, then cross quickly. I always have done the way you said and worked fine. Today trying other way by parking on right side I almost got hit by a coming around car. The car appeared as a miracle.
I had a car stop out of nowhere to go into a day car but there was no split and I ended up hitting him on his right side bumper I tried to get out the way but I him and he stopped out of nowhere now his insurance wants me to pay him 8k I feel like I’m not at fault plus he was holding traffic and on the other side cars were on coming so idk I’m getting a lawyer for this but it’s bs
Thank u for this video . Still learning I understand yellow lines me opposite direction white means same direction. But how can u tell what traffic is going and what traffic is coming
You always drive on the right side of the road in the US (unless directed to otherwise as in the example with the construction). The yellow line should always be on the left while the white line should always be on the right of you. If they are swapped then you are driving on the wrong side of the road.
Well done. I miss Steve. Steve and I met in 1965. We shared a place to live in Clifton Forge and worked together at several places in Virginia and North Carolina.
Wow, funny, the Sparks police officer I spoke to specifically said that if it's safe, you can pass other vehicles on a solid double-yellow line. Unless the laws are different in Maryland, looks like he didn't know the law.
