As a mother of two, full time employee and loving wife, sometimes it’s hard to find inspiration for a cake. Most times, I look at a picture and try to recreate it or change it to make it my own. This channel is to show every home/ amateur baker that you can do it too!!! There will be some fails....and I am ok with that. Please subscribe!!!!
Hello just want to say this recipe is the bomb. I made it for the first time yesterday and it came out great. I wish I could add a picture to show you. Thanks so much great recipe and great video.
Thanks so much for this video. My daughter will be turning 17 and this is exactly what she wants. This will be my first time and I don’t know anything about piping boarders any suggestions? Also what inch or ounce was the store cheesecake that was a brilliant idea. I have little less than 2 weeks to figure this all out.
Thank you so much! That’s why I made the label that’s doing quite well on Etsy because knowing how to make the cake is great but what about the customers knowing how to use it
The only part of the wafer paper that touches the cake is the border. I delivered a cake on Saturday morning and they followed my label instructions and didn’t refrigerate it. They burned it around 6pm that night with no issues
Hi! Can I make this cake one day before delivery? Can I store the cake in the refrigerator with the edible papers on it? or is it bad for the quality of the paper
@@sweetrubyscakes clearly thanks for your answer. 🙏🏻 And finally, what do you recommend? I have a customer who wants to pick up such a burn away cake 1 or 2 days in advance. It is precisely because of the buttercream that it is so important to keep the cake in the refrigerator, but the wafer paper cannot withstand that. So should a burn away cake be decorated on the same day and eaten within a few hours without being refrigerated?
thanks for sharing, can i keep the cake for a few days before i burn the wafer paper? i am afraid that the wafer paper will melt due to the moisture of buttercream? Thanks
