I think it was around $40. And I did bend the original back a few times since I dropped it a few times and thought it might be compromised. Was my first bike so just taking extra precaution.
I just ordered the same mid pipe and an OEM gasket, would you recommend I widen the mid pipe and use the gasket like you did or just skip the gasket for a better fit?
Just saw your video and subscribed. I’m a long time rider but haven’t ridden much the last 10 or more years but am getting back into riding since my son got his mc license and is planning on getting a Ninja 650 or the new Suzuki GSX800S. I’m in Alameda and am familiar with those routes you ride. Hopefully you post ride videos on a regular basis
Hey man! I’m from San Diego and moving to Brentwood this May. I’m looking for people to ride with, how can I join your group ride? Ride safe out there!
hey check out the facebook group "East Bay Motorcycle Group Rides" - a bunch of people in Brentwood and surrounding East Bay areas meet up in Walnut Creek on Sundays for a group ride somewhere in the Bay Area.
I forget what socket size. I sold the bike almost 2 years ago. I would recommend getting a socket and hex set so you have multiple sizes for different parts of the bike and other uses
Yes there is a threaded hole in the mid section of the pipe to thread in the existing o2 sensor which I put in. It's on the pipe I am showing at the 0:40 second mark
It is pretty close so I wasn't able to get an oil filter cap and wrench on it so I just took the old one off with channel locks and hand tightened the new one. No leaks and it's been 2000+ miles since.
I love the Mivv exhaust! I only remember hearing a Delkevic, but it was way too loud maybe because it didn't have a DB killer. The MK3 has a removable DB killer but I keep it in and i think it sounds great. I made a video of it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ffClwrq7APk.html&ab_channel=Niz2W
I have an external recorder, Tascam DR05, in my pouch on my right side and pointed to the exhaust. Also my GoPro 9 has a mic in the inside of my helmet and I mix those 2 audio sources together
