@@headphonesuser1234 Disagree heavily. Paths where you have to boost up a ramp? What about where you gotta stomp an extra time or intentionally skip quick step rail grind sections?
@@StickmanGuides I mean all those things are dead simple to do, like the type of stuff you'd find in an auto runner or other type of simple mobile game
@@StickmanGuides so basically what I'm seeing is a severe lack of 3d platforming even though the whole level is in 3d (ignoring the water sections cause those actually look awesome). Anytime you're running, you're being guided by boost panels, which immediately flows into other types of automated elements like springs, rails, homing attack chains. Between these elements I'm not seeing much opportunity to do much platforming. It's almost like you could keep the exact level layout, but force it into a 2d perspective and it would play the same. Generations has issues too I will admit but I'm not remembering it being like this especially in the 3d sections.
@@headphonesuser1234 Everything you just described automation-wise, especially with automation leading to more automation was already how it was in Generations Idk I disagree with the lack of platforming. I think it’s just the slower speed that is making you believe that imo. Plenty of platforming at the start, near the middle and at the Mach speed section. Space Colony Ark Act 1 also already shows that there’s a lot of 3D platforming in this game.
If it wasn’t for Jeff Fowler and Paramount listening to the negative feedback from this trailer, I don’t think the Sonic Movies would be nowhere near successful as they are now.
I like how they still kept the edgy look but with a different color pallet. (similar to another edgy character but from a different series and developer) These different terios designs looks sick and I love it!
I remember reading a comment that said GUN probably didn't mistake Sonic with Shadow and instead purposefully blamed Sonic so that the Shadow Project and the Raid on the Ark was never discovered. Sonic was just a good scapegoat.
Honestly hope for a sonic battle 2 in 3d with artstyle like sonic battle art and cell shade like shadow anime, that way i recreate that goated emerl vs shadow fight
All I'm gonna say is it needs more enemies, like a LOT more and they need more danger in it. Looks too open and empty but the different pathways are a great step up. Imo Shadow's levels should be hard as Shadow was usually considered Hard mode in other games
I absolutely do not understand why Mephiles is the best villain when he really did practically nothing, all his manipulations shamefully failed and it was filed in all seriousness. As for me, the same Infinite will be much more interesting and better than Mephiles, since his failures are bantered and not served right in all seriousness, he is not another edge overpower villain a la Mephiles 2.0, but is a narcissistic sucker, a nonentity who got a great force that drove him even more into complexes and finally drove him crazy, and Infinite at least did something in the plot of his game, unlike Mephiles, who tried to be played by everyone, but everything failed miserably and he had to personally carry out his plan, which looks like humiliation I shouted, Mephiles is the best villain in the Sonic, because "he killed Sonic, wooooooooow, wwwwooooahh!!!", but every year it less and less, I began to like and to me, Mephiles is one of the most overrated and uninteresting as a person (and his actions, disclosure) villains in the Sonic series
I would explain why you’re wrong. But then again you say Infinite is a good character. So you’re a lost cause. In short, your opinion is so fucking awful I can’t even explain
I'm remaining optimistic, but Kingdom Valley looks more like a really long Forces level than it does a Gens level. The level design is still overly simplistic. Feels like they're focusing too much on spectacle again instead of making thought provoking level designs. The surfing sections and the combat were the only part of the level that looked genuinely engaging. Most of it was boosting/chaos control to the end with some quickstep sections and sometimes holding your homing attack to take a different path. The annoying part to me is that it looks like when the level design is starting to look somewhat difficult, they let you chaos control through the entire section. At least to me, you can kind of tell they're tired of doing the boost formula because the level design actually starts to pop when they get to play around with a new gimmick like the surfing and aiming where you're going to send enemies flying. I hope they fixed the S Ranks at least if the levels are going to be very simplistic and easy. They actually need to be hard to get like they used to be in older games.
