I am a serious musicaholic. I listen and love almost everything except extreme death metal, country, disco and some "bubblegum" pop. How did I just discover her now? She is beautiful, talented and her music emotes many diverse things well. At least I can catch up with all her great songs and am having a ball doing so. My favorite by far so far is "Desire". It's both beautiful and scary as hell! I can't recommend her enough. While I'm here, I also want to recommend an awesome (my favorite) group that is not getting the attention they deserve; IMY2. This is how serious I am about this band. I had to have emergent open heart surgery 2 years ago after a massive heart attack. The first step in the surgery was to give me an injection that would stop my heart and kill me so they could remove it and repair it. I had to check that box and initial it showing I approved. There were another 20 boxes to check and initial, each one more gruesomely horrifying than the previous. My anesthesiologist asked me what music I would like him to play as I went under. Without hesitation, I said, "IMY2". I was gonna die at the beginning and wanted her beautiful dulcet voice to be the last thing I heard. Anyhoo, the lead singer is a gorgeous (an understatement, she looks like an angel!) young lady with long blue hair. Yes, blue! Don't allow that superficial detail turn you off. Her voice range is unbelievable! There are also 2 guys, Mike and Cal, that play bass, guitar and piano extremely well. There is also an unnamed drummer. It intrigues me why he is never shown or named. Perhaps an ex-wife is trying to find him to get him served divorce or spousal support orders. And, finally, the 5th member of the group is Mowgli (Like the child growing up wild in the Indian jungle in The Jungle Book by Sir Rudyard Kipling) the band dog. IMY2 is an acronym for "I Miss You Too". They started off several years ago doing covers. Most of their covers are far superior to the originals! They started writing their own music and lyrics a few years ago. They collectively call their own songs "The Basement Sessions". They are wonderful too. Give them a try. Don't give up after 1 song if it doesn't appeal to you, try several others and you will find some you love!
How to piss off you're fans.No rock ,melodic rock songs with hooks, and I'm sick of never wearing a bra.10 yrs later cut my hair and look like shit, its not my looks,it's my music.Wrong!you look like a freak and you're music sucks. Thanks For Nothing.
I love that the Cello Guy is so much enyoing this Gig! I would be feel so honored as well to be a part of it but the only thing I could do a Plus to it would be on Percussion and only on the Roland HPD-15 Pad
Meg is just a rare Juwel I compare with Legends like Nirvana, L7 or........NO she`s unique! I`m not "Starstruck" as I worked as Roadie (and Musician as well) for so many Bands in my younger years and this is a really qualified statement from someone who knows Quality! She`s Borderline like me @ outgoing on the Stage but don`t wanna see any praise and dodge from it in the breaks and after.....or B4. I really feel her....
We live in a wolrd of short attention spans..and a mouse that goes click or swipe..i watched her whole concert..such a rare Gem..im so glad Meg has come back and healthy..
