Nice video but i can't get it to work, i have this formula in X35: =IFERROR(H35+U35; "") (H35 is my start amount, and U35 is my PnL, and if it's empty it will be blank) How do i apply it to this formula i keep getting errors, can somebody pls help me? :)
I've just rediscovered Wondershare Filmora (WF). Bought it many years ago.... I was using 11Labs text to speech AI voice cloning. Suffice to say, It is full of bugs and errors, where many of my small paragraphs of conversions become annoyingly recorded with ticks, and odd human noises (Which were not on the recording). The support was useless too, no replies to any of my emails. So, I have just used WF and the voice clone with text to speech conversion is brilliant, 5 stars... 🙂👍💯❤
How do I replicate the month so that I have a worksheet with 12 months instead of one? I want them to all to be the same size but to have them appear one after the other as I scroll down the page? I want to be able to view the upcoming months. Also at 9:15, how are the cells being frozen? What buttons are being pressed?
Thanks, Is there a way to make the chart show only months with values ie in this case only show Jan - Mar, on the chart but without changing the source data, so in the next month when data is provided for April, the chart shows this line without changing the data source?
I have no identifier for checks. It is just the check number. Same with deposits I have odd and different descriptions what if you just want the excel to look at date and amount or check number date and amount. Then allow us to use the reconciler tool X short cut if multiples and clear accordingly
If the standings/fixtures for the round of 16 are incorrect I would double-check your inputs. I tested it and it looks to be calculating properly and all the matchups are correct.
well if the player fixtures are incorrect then that just means that their predictions weren't the same as the actuals, which is to be expected. if you wanted them to re-pick for the knockout stages, then you could use the overrides to force the correct standings and matchups.
Please double-check the scores you have entered in to make sure they are in the right format (0:0). If this is correct, you should also see the tables populate correctly. If there's an issue, it's probably due to a score being entered incorrectly somewhere. For example, even if you put a team as winning 1:0, make sure the order is correct (e.g. you you may need to enter it at as 0:1 rather than 1:0, depending on the order of the teams).
@@h2e that's not really the problem. We've used the #:# formatting, we're gathering points, and the groups are populating. We've decided to only predict the games from the group phase, and predict the following now that it ended. In the Actuals sheet, the knockout fixtures populated correctly. In the Players sheets, they didn't
Do you mean overriding the actuals? You wouldn't need to override the player tabs unless you wanted them to re-do the predictions for the knockout stages. The player results could change if you override the actuals because, for example, the matchup they predicted may no longer be correct.
@@h2e thanks for quick response :). No need to override actuals score tab as all perfect :). I would like the players to continue predictions in playoff stages. I can see the points for predicted teams works but when I do overrides in their tabs it then changes the scoring, adding more points as matching "correct team in correct stage". Is there any way to stop adding points while overrides are in?
In that case you may just want to adjust the scoring so that there are no points for getting the correct team in the right stage. You can set that to 0 on the scoring rules tab
@@h2e Our group predicted the group results first and we were going to Predict Round 16 - QF - SF- Final as we found out who was in each stage. I'm getting the overalls changed OK in each player tab to same as actual tables but override 3rd place isn't working when I change it to same as Uefa website, any help appreciated

Great video, very helpful. The S&P link refuses to connect via excel. I figured out a work around, using the download data URL from yahoo finance, but this makes it such that it won't automatically update daily. Any insight?
It would be more helpful if it wasnt so fast and was more descriptive. Seems this tutorial is already for users who are proficient with power query, who likely dont need this video anyway.

This is great - Five games played - Me 16pts (0-3-0-3-10), AI 15pts (3-3-3-3-3). Future predicted draws are already showing player prediction points?? So I'm recalculating as the games are played. (I think this only applies to 0:0 predictions). Work around is to enter (0:0) and re-enter 0:0 when the match is played so "no big deal".

Can you edit multiple external links within the data, as "Workbook Links" does manually. I have to change the domain in each cell in column of external links from other excel files. Brought in to the workbook with either with formula =[cell] or name. There are many workbooks that are aggregating external links and need to be changed. The external links appear as data and the url and only be managed with the "Workbook Links" feature, manually one by one. Can Power Query do this work dynamically?
