I only played the second game so I wasn't expecting anything different than its custom tracks, which are real-time rendered 3D, but WHOA, what's the first game doing? It looks like FMV (the track) and real-time (the walls and ceiling) at the *same time* somehow! Though I prefer knowing things are being rendered in real time rather than a video file, this is still oddly impressive. Of course, what would be better than both of these games would be if someone were to make a custom FMV importer/"track" editor for those PLZ files. Then practically any track could be driven by a Hot Wheels car...in video!
I’ve been looking for this for years... only one I could remember was Beach. Maybe Garden a little, now that I look at it. I definitely remember an indoors one, and there seems to be one in the first game. Was there ever a point where they were both released on one disc? I only remember one disc but I might be wrong.
@Zachary Blankartz, How were you able get Hot Wheels MechaniX to work on your computer? I need help to set it up & enable it to work on my Windows 10 Computer, b/c I am having trouble getting it set up.
It's unfortunate how Windows 8 & 10 are incompatible with so many things... I had to make *A LOT* of adjustments just to make my Windows 8 more like 7... It doesn't even come with necessities like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint...
I bought all the cars and toys of the mechanix type only to end up with my asshole roommate to sell it away without asking me ...... i never felt more hurt in my life ... losing the few things that reminded me of my childhood .
The explanation is simple. He or she wants to explore their environment, be creative, challenge their cars, and being awesome at it : ) I just bought enough straight track to build a life size replica the living room track on the first game. Yippyyyy!!
